This is the standard department store bargain buy. It's going to serve its purpose, and if you don't look too terribly closely, you're going to be very pleased. And if you do look close, make sure you also look at the price tag. For what you pay, it's pretty good.
The mat is thicker than just a piece of copy paper and the interior of the mat has a slightly beveled edge, so it looks nice against a photo or piece of art. The hardware is already installed, so you can hang the frame on the wall (or prop it up on a shelf) as soon as you pop a photo in it.
I ordered three 8x10 frames and ALL THREE arrived broken. One had shattered glass, and ALL THREE had cracked frames - like completely cracked.
I tried to salvage them but they are made out of awful styrofoam material and held together with crappy staples. The material not only stained my hands black, but ended up cracking in the corners of the frame as I tried to fix the initial crack. Ugh. So mad.
