Anyways after using it a couple of times, one day the plastic buckle broke. I was trying to weigh my baggage, and after lifting it, the plastic buckle broke and it hit my nose pretty bad. Also bled for some time. The buckle is just super poor quality and cant handle international baggage weights. The baggage I was weigihing was 25 kgs well within the limit. I have had this product for one month now.
I would suggest prospective buyers to look at other products which have a better strap and buckle!
So far it hasn't let me down. Its had a decent work out before a bunch of trips and it is accurate, easy to pack and easy enough to use. Its not easy lifting 60 pounds with a hand scale, but that is going to be the case no matter what you use really isn't it? Its small enough to keep packed with you and has a little strap that you can use to attach it to bags. I have a partner in crime to read the reading when I'm lifting and it works well.
Seems pretty sturdy, doesn't feel like it is going anywhere anytime soon.
first: the plastic holder that closes after we strap to the suitcase broke when I went to measure a 70lb suitcase, glad that my suitcase did not fall over one of my feet!
second: it does not have a pointer that stops at the weight, so you need to keep holding your luggage (which is really heavy) in order to be able to see the weight of it
