I have tasted both the regular and the Gluten Free and these are BOTH the same in taste! I am not sure why another reviewer said it does not taste good, but it tastes JUST LIKE the regular Kikkoman's soy sauce (and then again, I am not sure why she highlighted her stomach ache either...did she just down a bunch of salt??). This soy sauce is the best. It is excellent in Asian, Islander, and other exotic/international cuisines, and is also a nice seasoning to add to homemade sauces and dips, etc. I LOVE IT. And if you know how to cook, and know what the best so

Don't pay more for Gluten-Free, La Choy's whole line is Gluten Free...... Always has been..... If you're looking for the "Kikkoman's" flavor, add about 25% Tamari Soy Sauce to LA Choy's...... Tastes very similar to Kikkoman but is much stronger and more complex. I like San-J Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce -- 20 fl oz and can be bought locally in the ethnic aisle for around $2.50 for a 10 oz bottle. I actually prefer La Choy but tried it and like them mixed..... Try it!!

I am really glad I found this gluten free soy sauce, it is hard to find it in the stores sometimes. It has a lot of flavor and adds a nice touch to vegetables and other foods. I would recommend this product.

I have a gluten sensitivity and have for about a year and a half now. One of things I missed the most is Asian food (both Japanese and Chineese). But, thanks to gluten-free Kikkoman I can enjoy home made Asian food again. I can't tell the difference between this and regular. My wife make some great fried rice with this!

what can I say? perfect. Often the "gluten-free" versions taste kinda lousy, but this was just like the real thing :)

The initial flavor is good, but there's an odd smell to it and a weird, vaguely fishy aftertaste, neither of which I notice in regular Kikkoman. Looks like I'll be buying my own soy sauce instead of sharing with my roommate and her gluten-sensitive boyfriend.

I lived in Japan 11 years and am very partial to Kikkoman vs other brands of soy sauce. I did not expect to like this, but I think this is a very good subsitute for the original. I am so glad it's out there!!!

You can tell it's not the same as the original but it is still good. I didn't find it salty at all or have a bad taste.
