This book is not for everyone. For those who are looking for something "deep" (i.e. you're looking for Hebrew and Greek word studies and systematic theology), this probably won't be your cup of tea. But, I loved this book! In my opinion, it is deep in the best way - pushing the truth of Scripture and our identity in Christ into the deepest recesses of our souls.
Kill the Spider is not for the timid or those who like staying on the surfaced. Pick up this book with fear and trembling. Carlos' words are a heat-seeking missile for the spiders in your life. I'm not the same after reading this book. I doubt you will be either.
(I'm going to be giving a lot of copies of this book away. It's just that good!)
*Edit - I just want to add that as I gave a copy of Kill the Spider to a friend today I told her that if I had to get rid of every book I own (aside from the Bible) and only keep ONE book Kill the Spider would be the ONE book I would keep!
I couldn’t stop reading and by the end, I wanted to read again. This is a completely different book than Moment Maker and I think rivals Don Miller’s Scary Close in it’s ability to make you question everything.
Well done and I will be gifting this to my friends and family!
