What happens when the hunter . . . becomes the hunted?
Kit Kenyon is a first-rate hostage negotiator. Noah Lambert is a good detective with excellent instincts. These new partners have hardly had time to get used to each other when they are thrown into a grisly murder case. As evidence mounts and more victims are found, Kit and Noah realize they are on the hunt for a serial killer.
The problem is, he may be hunting one of them too.

I am thrilled I found Lynette Eason, though. A Killer Among Us was just as grippingly nail-biting as the first two books. I did figure out the villains of book 2 and this book early on. It took longer with book 1. Ms. Eason is too good a writer not to have allowed her audience to hone in on the "bad guys." Even though I thought I figured out who the killers were, it was interesting to witness how they acted and reacted throughout the books. The romance was a bit too fast in this book. I really liked the male main character, Noah. I was back and forth about Kit. She irritated me a lot. Out of all three books, my favorite character was Jamie. Off to download Ms. Eason's ebook Gone In A flash. A short book centering on Sam, Connor, Andy, and Jenna on a cruise! Enjoy!
This was Eason's first series, Deadly Reunions being her second series and now having read both I have to say that I believe she just keeps getting better and better. You could read this book alone but I think that you would want to read the other characters' stories in Books 1 & 2, since they are all in Book 3. Either way this one was a good read!
Sometimes I just want something that's an easy read and not too detailed that I keep forgetting who is who, I don't need to read detailed instructions on how to build a nuclear bomb etc. It was nice to not have language that isn't really necessary. Basically, I enjoyed the mix of my favorite type of novel and good (but not overdone) Christian values.
Having said all that, I did find that the books are a little predictable but I still didn't catch everything.

And there’s a rather good audio whispersync'd in too.
Which meant explicit sex and no 'f' words. (My pet hate)
I read all three parts of this trilogy (Sleep? Whats that?) and then read the authors comments.
I was a bit sad to see that it was a trilogy and nothing more. All of the characters involved could have gone on to more with their work and church life.
I always wanted to be a 'Walton' when growing up. I now want to be part of this family. Would they like a 'step gran'???
I must explore this author more and especially the American Christian Fiction Writers of America.
