Killer Jam is a good mystery with interesting characters in a small Texan town. There is action, intrigue and the beginning of a romance. Looking forward to the next story in the series.

I have reading her books for years; this one is different about a farm , milk cow who likes to wander and gets into mischiefl
Also woman buys a farm and has all kind of problems. henThere they have a farm festival in town with food, drinks, contest who makes the best
canned Jams etc. Then a mean women who owns a lot of property.gets killed.....then the mystery begans....
Her mysteries are a delight I think, and after read a book of hers can't wait for the next one. It does have a wee bit of romance, but the
young farm lady father meets This is a good cozy mystery. enjoy.

This series is great. I read the 2nd book before the first but it didn't really matter. These would make great Hallmark Mystery Movies. Can't wait for next book in series.

I couldn't put the book down. I felt like a detective myself, trying to solve all the mysteries and hoping Lucy would be cleared of the crimes. I would recommend this book to anyone. I am already to begin the next book...

Lucy is surrounded by some eccentric townspeople and a very handsome veterinarian. Her cohort in crime, Quinn, is supportive and strong. The storyline combines cozy mystery with social issues in a very non-threatening way. There is enough comedy relief to bring my pulse back to normal. The plot twists and turns kept me guessing right up until the end. The landscape descriptions are so realistic that I had no problem picturing Lucy's idyllic farm. I can't wait for the next installment to see how Flora joins Lucy and Quinn in solving mysteries and Tobias and Lucy's chemistry grows. Fair warning---be sure to allow yourself time to finish once you reach Chapter 23. You won't be able to put it down.

I love the pacing and the comfortable tone that is featured in this fresh new whodunit. The murder mystery was well-executed and I enjoyed watching it play out as the story got closer to the killer’s identity with a few twisty turns. The author did a great job in keeping me intrigued with all that was going on and introducing the town and residents of Buttercup that I too, wanted to buy up land and farm it myself. With a wandering cow who I found adorable, this was a fun read. Boasting a lovable cast of characters, a picturesque setting, great dialogue and a blossoming romance, this was a delightfully charming beginning to a debut series that I hope is here to stay.

Chock full of plot, this book held my interest from beginning to end. The characters are well developed and the locale is enticing. All in all an enjoyable, if a bit light, cozy mystery. Even though I enjoyed reading it, I doubt that I'll remember the plot in a month.

I absolutely loved this book! I love the author's very descriptive writing style. I could smell the jam cooking and hear the sounds of the farm. I loved the characters and the setting. The heroine actually ends up solving two murders and the story line kept me engaged until the very end. I am looking forward to trying some of the recipes at the end of the book. I bought the ebook and loved it so much that I have purchased the paperback to keep. Eagerly looking forward to the next installment in this series.
