My only gripe about this is that it needs an Author's Note stating the general timeframe (I'm guessing mid-1980s). Fans of the tales know that Di's tales mostly span early '70s to late '80s, but even then, it's still jarring to read a tale set in that timeframe, without any notice of *when*, and get confused by the descriptions and plot-points based on archaic computer tech that we haven't used in two-three decades. Without some indication of timeframe, for example, younger readers (used to wifi and cable) may not get the reasoning why the villain can't be in a hospital, or what 286 is. It took me a moment to remember what she's talking about, and I cut my computer teeth on the first PCs of the '80s.
Anyway, good read for the price. Fans should definitely pick this up; newcomers to Tregarde may want to start with Children of the Night instead.
