It's Killer Instinct - if you dig fighting games you love this game. Seriously even if you've never played it but you like fighting games you literally love this one and just don't know it yet.
I have no clue why this game never got more popular but it's one of the greatest butt kicking good times you'll ever have.

A great addition to the original series. They did a good job updating the series to fit today's standards without losing too much of what was special about the two original games. The sound track by Mick Gordon is probably one of my favorite parts of the game. I've been a long time KI fan and even run the biggest KI fan site, I always thought they'd mess up a sequel but they did a great job. New fans to the franchise should love it. Its very similar to most fighting games these days.

K.I. is a impressive next Gen title
Is it the best fighter on the XBOne imo no but, it's a strong exclusive the $20.00 price tag makes it a decent deal
Combo Breaker Pack is all of season one complete (Minus getting the Killer Instinct Arcade port)
you have to pay for some extra pack dlc with skins and the classic original K.I. is that dlc worth the extras cash? depends mostly on your age if you were around back in the day and played the Original uncut K.I. in arcades it is!
If your first home gaming console was the Wii or PS3 the dlc pack isn't for you....

Graphically: It's top notch! It looks stunning it's this odd love letter re-boot but, it's not a re-boot
I'd call it a homage to the first two Arcade titles made from the ground up!
the only negative about the game is it's too fast!
I've read on various boards it clocks in at 60fps
you really can't enjoy the surroundings and everything on screen cause you'll get the hell beat out of you
If you don't fight back you lose a round

The controls: are tight and smooth (not as perfect as DOA 5 but, very close) If you ever played the SNES or N64 versions of K.I. the controls were a bit off on those versions.... This re-make the controls were built around the XOne controller so everything feels right
This title actually made me appreciate the XOne controller

Story: ???? If there is a story it went over my head the K.I. Story has always been shallow (much like Pit Fighter and Primal Rage)
Overall it's a must own on physical disc or digital title (I'd get the physical mostly cause then more digital titles will get a physical disc version too! 9/10

We're having a BLAST fighting each other with this....or rather I'm having a blast kicking my husband's ass lol We've decided we're going to settle our differences in the house with a match whenever we get in an argument....so far I'm winning all arguments. We're both competitive but at the end when it's all said and done, we're always laughing.

The graphics are outstanding. The characters are outstanding. It's fun trying to figure out the combinations and each character comes with its special signature moves and powers. I like how they have a "training" center where you can learn moves and hone your fighting skills. All in all it's a fun game and we're not gamers. We typically get frustrated after about 10 minutes with trying to figure things out and don't have the patience or the time but this is pretty straight forward....

$10-$15 on a daily deal, when this item still sells on the xbox marketplace for about $30-$40.
Why not?

The download was not straight forward.
You expect to put the disc in and all of your characters download....
that's not the case.

You also have to keep the disc in to play the characters that are included, because it's not traditional DLC.

keep that in mind.
other wise it's a great game, and it was priced where it should be.

All I wanted from a KI game, my only issue is you still end up having to spend another 40 dollars for the season 2 characters, also, in order to play the season one characters you have to have the disc in. Owning it and putting in the code doesn't unlock it without having the disc like it does when you download the season 2 characters.

Also, not at all what I thought it was going to be. Current gen is far more capable than this by the numbers potboiler.
Avoid... unless you like the idea of paying an extra £2 per extra character.
