out of 5, 2 of them had a shedding problem, almost immediately
it was probably the edge that was not sewn very tightly that was the cause of shedding but everytime i wiped with the 2 pieces, grey bits of fabric would come lose... causing more cleaning up

otherwise it is really absorbant and doesnt leave much streaking behind

I purchased these as more of a dishrag. They are absorbent they hold the soap and wipe down my counters beautifully. I recommend these for cleaning your kitchen counters and washing dishes. They dry quickly and do not seem to get a bad smell like some microfiber cloths do. I really like the waffle weave of the fabric. The small size of 12“ x 12“ is perfect for a dishrag too.

I started off rating these washcloths a 1 because they are represented as being black -- which is what I wanted -- and they aren't. They have a black border, but otherwise they are a dark blue. So annoying! I would not have bought them had they been properly described. However, having used them for a few days, I have to give them a 5 for function. They really do a most excellent job of wiping up stuff. I haven't washed them yet, and so I don't know how that will turn out, but so far I am pleased with how they work. So I am changing my rating to a 4.

After washing without fabric softener or fabric sheets, they are highly absorbentad hold soap well. Great for hand washing dishes. They are soft and larger than a typical kitchen dish cloth. I haven’t had them for long so time will tell how durable they are. I purchased them to replace some white waffle weave cotton dish cloths that get all stained from washing dishes. I wanted something darker in color that held suds better for an improved clean with less dish soap. They performed well for that purpose.

UPDATE 12/8/20 I just came on to find these so I could order them as stocking stuffers for my family members because THEY'RE FANTASTIC. The gray color is the way to go, they don't stain and the color really holds on them!
