Tyson Randolph Kincade found his perfect Navy Seal wife in Jayde Rose Porter, his little rose. They were thrown together and married by chance but chose to face the world together, working through all of the trepidations Jayde felt because of how her family treated her. Cade, as his team called him, was determined to make sure he kept his Megalodon Amazon. Jayde, not fully acknowledging that she is stronger than she thinks she is, comes to understand that. She's finally tired of how her family treats her and stands up to them.
Maybe and Tyson both realized that they found true love. They'd faced danger and disapproval and survived. All is left is the future, no matter how long that may be, as long as they are side by side.
This was an enjoyable read. I found myself rooting for the unlikely couple. This story was full suspense and drama which I liked. I think I've found a new series to read.
Little is revealed about Tyson’s only that he was hurt on the last assignment and was once in a bad relationship. However Jayde was an amazing heroine that you could not help but fall in love with. She was strong, feisty, smart and very loving. We learned about Jayde's fears and her cowardice when it came to standing up to her family who makes her life miserable.
The action and intrigue are believable so much so that you are on the edge of your seat and can't wait to see what happens next. Subplots are nicely intertwined and complement the main storyline well.
Tyson is a great man, a Navy SEAL, who is ready to protect Jayde, his Love, from anyone or any dangerous situations. However, it was refreshing to see that he, also required protection by his little rose who shows wits and great strength. I found it ironic that it seems easier for Jayde to face the foes of the jungle than to face her family. Both draw strength, courage, and determination from one another's support/ love.
One of the best story I've read, by far. I am happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this novel to anyone.
I enjoyed all the military style action and related to the story as I live in a Navy town. While parts of the story were a bit far fetched, I love how Tyson took care of her and kept her safe. I was so disappointed in Tyson, when he was in pain Tyson let Jayde down after she kept him safe and saved his life. There was action, family drama and romance.
Interestingly enough this is an inter-racial love story but you would never know by the characters and plot of the book. They did not make race the main issue of the book and as a reader I appreciated that. You just can't help who you love.
