I first love the illustrations. They were bright colored and hand crafted, not computer generated.
Second, I loved the little boys name: Silly Pants. He was anxiety about going to school and little things seems to get in his way. His mother was a bright star in his life and help him relax. I truly loved the way the author had the story flowing and the illustrations again was awesome!
This was truly a job well done, by both the author and illustrator. 5 Stars all the way!
Silly Pants is a little apprehensive to start Kindergarten. His Mommy reassures him that he will do just fine and that Kindergarten is fun. When Mommy drives him to school for his first day, Baby Sister comes along too. Silly Pants is delighted to see that his friend Ana is at school and in the same classroom as he is. Together, along with all the other children, they have a fun-filled and exciting day. Silly Pants looks forward to his next day at Kindergarten when he will have the opportunity to do even more exciting things.
"Kindergarten, Here Comes Silly Pants" is a great children's book to help introduce preschoolers to the concept of going to school. More than likely, they will find comfort in knowing that their friends will be attending school just like Silly Pants did.

Growing Up & Liking It
The only thing I could say negatively about the book are the names used. "Silly Pants" and "Goofball" My five year old pointed out that it isn't nice to call people names, and being new to school this may give a bad influence to impressionable youngsters. If your child picks up on stuff like that you may want to change the names as you read this to your child.
All in all, good book. My daughter enjoyed the story.
