Great companion bear as DLC..
amazing game play and with cats and bears to chose from, you never run out of choices. My daughter loves the simple things that this game has to offer. Ideal for very young kids like 4-7, they will need your help at times but otherwise an amazing game overall.
this game comes with a DLC for a bear and also includes a physical cute bear.. makes a very nice present.

I bought this for my daughter and she immediately fell in love with it. I ended up getting this for 9.99 on sale or something, but it was a lot cheaper brand new on Amazon than it was used anywhere else. My daughter is 3 years old and she enjoys playing this game everyday. There are a variety of animals you can choose from and lots of activities kids can do with their animal. It is a good game for kids to interact with animals if for some reason they cannot have one.

The graphics are colorful and cute, but it says it has 1-2 players but you can only play one at a time and you have to switch out to another person or character to play 2 people. It is not as fun as I thought it would be. I got this game for my 7 year old daughter, she is a only child and I thought we could play it together, but one of us has to sit until the other is ready to switch out. It has too much of a story line and not enough play time. I could not find a way to skip the long story line before each adventure. The attention spand of a 7 year old ( and myself) is not long, we just want to play not listen to a story. The little bear that comes with it was really cute, but we couldn't get the special code attached to the bear that comes with it to work. Conclusion we played it once and never played it again.

My daughter's wanted the bears to go with this game and kept bugging me to buy them a brand new game so they could interact with the bears, So when i found this i bought it and they were so excited when they saw what it was for. Since than, The stuffed animal has became the dogs and he carries it around in his mouth claiming ownership but the kids don't mind and as far as i see it, Both the kids and the dog got something out of the deal so i'm a happy costumer. :-) The games works like a charm even though we had a little bit of a struggle trying to get the kinect to read the code but when we finally managed to get it to read it, It was smooth sailing from there.

The bear edition, actually went on clearance at Toys R US for $5 dollars. So the resellers are doubling up.

I don't know if they were ever $149.00. But really a game and a bear for $10.00 is WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

The game play is good for kids very young. Under 10 years old. It's really for the kinect feature. My children are 5 and 6, so they can sit and play the same game 100 times, and NOT get bored. This is inherent to brain development, for their stage. Repetition, Repetition, Repetition. Which is why they can watch train videos, or Cailou, or something similar 100's of times. With that being said, the briefness of the game was not an issue for me.

For an older kids, this game will get old - FAST.

But the FAO teddy is worth way over the $10. and with PRIME SHIPPING, this is an AMAZING deal.

Great addition to Kinect library, and again the Teddy is super cute, and you can REGIVE AS A GIFT.
Infact, I think I will order another for my niece.

My 5-yr toddler son loves this game, has been playing for over a year now. Purchased him the original Kinectimals, but played it so much the disc went bad (from his mis-handling). At any rate thought I'd pick this up for him to replace the original game, but to my disappointment, this is NOT a new game, it just includes the ability of adding "Bears" to the existing game. My son was excited because he was able to continue from his existing saved game, to which I was happy for him. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price for what I thought was Kicnectimals Part 2.

My daughter loved the original Kinectimals so we decide to get the Bears edition. Originally we were going to upgrade through XBOX Live, but when I saw the cost, I decided to check online for the physical edition. This was a better deal, included the disc and a great stuffed bear as well. The game is a blast to play and my daughter loves having the option to play on the bear island or the cat island. it is a perfect diversion for days where the weather reduces physical activity.

The game promises freedom to play with your new pet, but instead it keeps interrupting with quests, options, questions, and it very quickly gets frustrating for a young kid who just wants to play. The movement recognition on a small child is also quite bad compared to other kids' games, which leads to even more frustration.
