By far one of the best series I've read this year. Tm Frazier rips your heart out and then slowly puts it back together.

King is such a flawed alpha hero, there were so many times when it seemed like I couldn't root for him, even when I wanted to. But just when I thought i had him figured out, he came back with quiet a few tricks up his sleeves. Good isn't always in a shiny and pretty package, but that doesn't mean it's not what you need.

Doe was such a vulnerable and lost character. The way she struggles to cope with what her life has become broke my heart. What she thought was betrayal was actually an act of mercy, what was an act of mercy was really a stab in the back. With no idea who to trust, no idea who she is, and one hell of a plot twist, she defines the word lost. But she's a fighter.

Preppy. My love. Because pancakes. I will forever have a moment of silence when I see a plate of pancakes. This character will endear himself to you in ways you never thought possible.

This series must be read in order, book 1 has a vicious cliff hanger so grabbing this boxed set is perfect!!!

After reading King and Tyrant, I feel like I just watched an action packed movie—explosives, gunfights, blood bath, crazy hot sex and all!!! Doe and King’s love story had it all. The book gave us a great introduction to who Brentley King was and how his ugly childhood shaped him to become THE King. I really liked that the author started off the book this way because it held my interest from the get go and by adding on a sidekick like Preppy and Bear, she really gave us a great trio of characters to start off what would be one of the most interesting, yet bizarre stories I’ve read all year.

King was definitely one enigmatic man. Though in the years that he’d become this monster who had absolutely no regard or guilt over taking someone’s life, his own world is suddenly turned upside down when he becomes wildly obsessed with Doe from the very moment he lays his eyes on her. An instant connection, a love at first sight if you will. And though their love story is weirdly unconventional to say the least, I really did enjoy the ride. The fighting back and forth, the yelling and kicking which would then turn into passionate, rough sex—well, that had my lady bits buzzing. Thank you very much! And while Doe begins to fall in love with King, the loss of her own memory is still a huge weight on her shoulders. Not knowing where she came from and who she is, I felt bad for her especially when she starts feeling guilty about the choices she’s been making. Their story was full of secrets and violence and it kept me on my toes. I wanted to find out who Doe really was and I wanted to see how King’s and Doe’s relationship would unfold as well.

King and Tyrant were action packed with tons of twists and turns that will both shock you and make your stomach uneasy.

T.M.Frazier is a new author to me, and boy am I glad I gave her characters a try. King and Tyrant had plot twists that I never really saw coming.. All her characters are endearing in their own way..Loved Preppy and his way of speaking, Bear for his soft side even though they call him Bear and well for King it's for his Alpha way and the ability to open his heart after such a troubled past..Absolutely loved Doe.. I'm looking forward to reading more about Bear in the next book.. T.M definitely has a reader for life..

On the pushing from a friend I finally read the King Series Collection-King & Tyrant. This is the first books I have read by TM Frazier and I am at a loss for words... In the first book KING- King and Doe (Pup) are about as different as they come. King is the biggest A-hole I have read in a long time and wanted to hate him but just could not with so much pain he has endured was heart wrenching. Doe is a lost girl who needs to be found and loved and needs to learn to live. Then you throw in Preppy and Bear, Kings best friends from childhood and you have a family. As you get into the lives of each character my heart broke and I cried for each one. I swiped each page not expecting what I got and for that I was completely sucked in and immediately started reading the 2nd book TYRANT-is the continuation of King and Doe (Pup). I was so surprised at how this story played out. King doing what he does best by kicking ass and not taking names along with Doe/Pup having to deal with her family and boyfriend Tanner. Bear dealing with the BB club and realizing and accepting what brotherhood and loyalty is all about, while all 3 are dealing with Preppy and trying to find out who the real TYRANT is. The emotional roller coaster these 2 books give you is mind blowing. I was completely blown away as the pieces all came together and I was left with feelings of love, gratitude, loss and hope. You will not be disappointed reading King and Tyrant, not only do you get an awesome read you also get I hate you sex-I love you sex-back to make up sex-then just back to good old fashioned raw you are mine sex.

First books I've read by this author and I'm very impressed at the way she told these stories. Yes parts are hard to read, but it adds to the character of the story. You hAve three young boys that came from awful circumstances, King, Preppy, and Bear. All with different personalities and appearances, the most flamboyant was the very funny Preppy, dressed like a school boy with slacks and colorful bow ties, where King and Bear looked scary as hell with all their tats. King had just got out of prison and Bear and Preppy decide to give him a welcome home party and get him laid. In walks this scraggly girl with clothes to big for her trying to make some money for food and she's lost her memory and doesn't know who she is, so she calls herself Doe. Bear tries to send her away but she begs him to let her stay, so Bear decides to send her up to King to cheer him up. But Doe was not expecting to see what she did when she opened the last door at the end of hall. This begins the push pull relationship between King and Doe, and this story takes off like a rocket. Get ready for suspense, secrets, murder, hot sex, and your heart to be yanked out of your chest, cause by the end this reader was crying like a baby. Can't wait to start Bear's story, he was so sexy to me and had also been put thru the wringer, mostly by his dad Chop.
