This was a sweet book with a bit of spicy! I usually don't go for friends to lovers because they can annoy me- but not this one, I was intrigued by the premise (shorter guy, don't worry he had other 'tall' assets;) . Characters were well written. A great short read!

Such a sweet short story! For only 7 chapters, the book moves fast, but it’s still easy to follow and quite the page turner. Great characters, too. These friends to lovers are just so adorable together and it’s easy to see how much they love each other. The books has an HEA.

It took best friends Miles and Liana, to finally let their feelings known. They had been best friends since kindergarten and she even worked at the harbor where he would bring in his catch of the day. His dad owns the store and he also knows how much she likes his son. He tells her all the time to let Miles know her feelings.
It takes one night out with friends that she lets her feelings known to Miles. He asks her to get dressed up for a Prom he should have taken her to years before. They actually don't get to go out because their feelings for each other took over.
Finally after a year they are finally getting married and ready to start their life together.

This was a good book. Miles and Liana were the best of friends since childhood. They each held deeper feelings for the other, but refused to act on them in fear of losing their friendship. Eventually, they figured it out. They were perfect together.

I really like Liana and Miles, their friendship creates a sweet, yet strong base for their relationship. It may have been a slow progression, but they quickly go from sparks to inferno and it is lovely, flirty, funny, exciting and scary all at once.... his cheeky look as he states 'Honey, I'm home' made me smile.
I haven't read any of the other Hope Harbor books, but will be checking them out after reading this. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
