This series of books about a possible future to our over consumed and environmentally degraded world with myths and gods who return is excellent (with lots of nail biting action moments and adventures). I have not enoyed a series like this since the Lord of the Rings.

This series was fantastic. The last book will give you closure. The fight scenes are terrific, with great twists. Some of the scenes seemed to have characters overly explaining themselves. I found myself scanning instead of reading when it can to enemy monologues. For the most part, almost as entertaining as the first trilogy. The Age of Misrule set the bar high. Worth every penny.
