I have read all three of The Time Twins books and have found them all to be interesting. I find that DB has a good imagination and has been able to relay this to his writing. He added a few new characters to this book and blended them in very well. now just waiting for book number four.
I've been meaning to post a review for awhile now. Anyway this was really good and I loved . I fell in love with Seth, and Ben all over again and really liked Isaac and Josh. I really didn't like Josh in the beginning but he's grown on me and I can't wait to see more!
Ben and Seth have a rude awakening in their peaceful new world when Ben's spoiled, and now seriously injured, cousin Josh comes to live with them and Uncle T at Conehaven. Josh has already disrupted their lives with his rude behavior. Can he be trusted if he finds out about the fugitives from an ancient civilization who are being given safe harbor at Conehaven? The dynamics of this trio precipitate their unexpected excursion to a a hidden polar civilization. Once Uncle T recovers from his astonishment and anger at their unexpected intrusion, can he channel the energies of these young men to help aid in the resettlement of a most unusual community? Read the book to find out and marvel at the creativity of the author's descriptions of a surreal world with a myriad of adventures along the way.
The first two books were very thought provoking in terms of what could the workd be like in the far past? Seth and Ben were typical teens, at the end of the 2nd book I was jumping to get to the third. Josh brought a element to the good buddies of Seth and Ben, like adding an annoying little brother. Josh's character could have used some depth reading this as an adult, but if you add the authors blogs into the mix, then the depth is there. These books are perfect for the 11 - 14 year old boy with the "what if"
