The cover is eye catching, so much so that my 8 year old picked it up and began reading it. And there is no reason she can't. The book is easy enough for her and contains nothing sexual and the language is appropriate (nothing bad at all). I wish more books and television were that way, there are many shows I would like to watch and a few authors I would love to read, but refuse to based on the language.
Ms. Roberts takes all that out and still tells a very good story.
Great job, Kathy!
