I almost returned this. It took forever to write just 400Mb - 10 minutes. Happily, I tried re-formatting it from the default shipped exFAT file format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). That did the trick. BLAZING FAST. 15GB in 90 seconds write speed. That should work out to about 167Mb/s write speed and some were small files and others large video files. I DEFINITELY recommend that Mac users erase / reformat to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) My entire MBA drive (36Gb) took just a few minutes to copy

I absolutely love this product! I am able to store a ton of stuff on it and still have a lot of space left. It is larger than a normal jump drive, but not so large that it doesn't fit comfortably in a pocket which I love. Would definitely recommend this to others! Looking forward to having time to save other things on here...originally bought this to be able to put a very large powerpoint file on this for an upcoming presentation. Has handled this very easily. Looking to put my entire music collection and pictures on here as a backup.

Expensive for what you actually get. The mechanism to remove the drive from the key-chain seems cheap and doesn't work well, it catches and hangs up internally causing you to fiddle with the spring thing a few times before it actually releases. Calling this a thumb drive is pushing it; it should be called a small USB removable Hard Drive due to it's huge size. I wear it around my neck though, you get used to it. It is fast on 3.0, I get 20-25MBs on 2.0 though. Currently copying 156 GB of files from the drive through a laptop to a NAS at a consistent 105-112 MB/s.
