This has nothing to do with the product but the seller which is unfortunately the 8000lbs Amazon itself.

Kingston is my prefer brand, and I am willing to pay little bit extra for their product. Also I'm aware of the prevalence of counterfeit memory card on the internet (not just Amazon).

This time I need an 64G card for my wife new tablet. I have to specifically search for Kingston microSD card which is "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com", and I still am hit by a counterfeit.

Shame on you Amazon.

BTW there is a simple test for it. You do NOT have to download any software to do it. The software to test the SD card I see in some of the post in Amazon review maybe good and do what it suspose to do or maybe bad and might infect your pc.

It's very easy if you have a CD image file (ext .iso) around 500-600MB. Just copy the file(s) onto the sd card repeatedly, if it's a 1GB counterfeit, the second attemp will fail. Mine did.

If you don't have a big iso file, some picture or video file will do. Begin at the 3rd time, you need to press Ctrl-A to select all the files already copied onto the card (it's only two of them after two tries, 4 after 3rd, 8 after 4th, etc..), then press Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste. Keep doing this till Window complain that there is no more space on the card.

It's easy but it takes time. There is no shortcut to make it faster.

Picked this up to serve as the storage for my Rpi3 that I turned into the new guts of my RetroPi gaming system. With the included SD adapter, I had no issues plugging this little guy into the reader on my iMac and using a disk tool to burn in the new image.

The Kingston microSDHC card worked like a charm right out of the gate in my Pi, and the large 32GB capacity gives me the confidence that no matter what I throw on it while it serves its life as a game machine, it will have plenty of space.

I bought this for my phone. I was about to the end of my space with the 32GB internal storage and I wanted to have more space for pictures and music.

I tested this device by writing multiple large files to it, then reading them back to confirm that they were un-corrupted. This card behaves exactly as it should. I have about 117GB with formatting for a file system. I can fill it up and still read back the original files. Now I have the additional space in my phone to take pictures and videos without having to remove music or uninstall apps.

Make sure that your device is compatible with SDXC. If it is, this card should work.

This is my 4th mico SDHC card I ordered because I need them for so many things. My android box, my camera, my car cam... you name it. Love this card. It comes with the adaptor as well so you can use the mini card or put the mini card into the adaptor and use the large one. The price for a 32gb card also great. Hence the reason I have 4 of them so far. I have never had any problems with these cards at all. The computer reads them fine and if I put one into my other card reader it also works like a charm. The card is fast and reliable. What more can you ask for?

Brand New Best Price With Retail Packaging And Working Flawlessly

I got this for my smartphone to replace the PNY SD Card I bought in 2011 that suddenly died. My PC has 4 Kingston RAM sticks older than that so I figured I'd go with Kingston. I recommend formatting it with the SD Card Formatter by SD Association, a program for Windows or Mac made specifically for memory cards, and not format using your PC's OS. After I formatted it with the SD Card Formatter I copied my music and other files to it, put the SD card in the smartphone, turned it on and it was recognized without a glitch, without the dreaded extSdCard needs to be formatted message that wipes out everything you copied to it.

Another good thing, when I ordered this, I didn't realize it would be shipped from Taiwan. I didn't pay attention to the seller really, I was just looking for a new retail product with the best price with high reviews. Kingston is selling this for $17. I paid $11.25 with free shipping. I live in Florida and I assumed the seller was in the US. After placed the order on 1/17/16 the usual Amazon confirmation dialog popped up and it said the estimated arrival date would be 3/2/16! I said WTF! What did I get myself into? Not only am I'm going to have to wait a couple of months to get a damn little SD Card but what about if it's bad and I have to return it, It's going to be a nightmare, I don't speak Chinese! Unbelievably, I got it in 17 days from the other side of the world. You can trust doing business with this seller, NMicro Technology.

Lost all my data all of a sudden. I've been using this on my phone for additional storage.
Now Windows sees this as a RAW file system with 251MB of space rather than 32GB/FAT32, asking me to format it before use.
Worked fine for over a year to be fair but it's not ideal.

Update:
Contacted Kingston who referred me to a Data Recovery company who quoted £300. This was too steep for me so I didn't go ahead with it.
Kingston provide a Lifetime Warranty with this card so they've sent me a replacement card free of charge which I've now received.

I use this card with my new Samsung Galaxy S7 and I have near constant problems with corruption, having to erase, re-erase and re-format it every week or so. I lost some app data. The camera keeps switching to using internal storage because the card is so glitchy. I bought this specifically to have apps, photos, music and other stuff on that I don't want taking up space on my phone and I am finding it unreliable and useless. If I am willing to risk the data getting lost, then I put it on the card. Otherwise, it has to be constant backups and loss of information.
Overall, I recommend spending few pounds more and getting a SanDisk card instead. Play safe.

Fake, Doesn't Work

Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed that the writing printed on the adapter looked grainy and difficult to read. The card didn't seem to fit the adapter and kept slipping out of the adapter slot, even when I used the lock on the side of the adapter.
I've had no issues with using SD cards on my laptop before, but when I inserted the adapter into the SD card reader that's built directly into my laptop, the card didn't even show up under "Devices", so there was no way I could use the card.
After that I tried inserting the micro SD (without the adapter) into a USB micro SD card reader that I regularly use for my other micro SD cards without any issue. When I inserted this card it kept disconnecting from my computer at random times. Also, any file that I put onto the card was immediately lost once I transferred the card to my phone.
At this point I suspected the card was a fake. I did some research into counterfeit SD cards and found out that the one I received was most likely a fake based on the style of the packaging - for example, the writing on the adapter was misprinted, as I mentioned earlier. By downloading the app SD Insight, I was able to confirm that the card I received is a fake.
I am very disappointed and I am hoping to receive a refund.

I put this card into my phone and it came up with a message to the effect that it was slow and I needed to use a different data card. I checked before purchase that is was a UHS 1 card but it turns out that it is not usable for extra storage on my phone. Going into my orders to return it as unsuitable for intended purpose there is a message saying that this product is not returnable (which I have never experienced on Amazon before).

La Classe di velocità rappresenta il parametro originariamente usato, con un numero a seguire che esprime la velocità della scheda: 4 per 4MB/s, 6 per 6MB/s, ecc., in questo caso Class 10 indica 10MB/s. Con il termine UHS (Ultra High Speed) si fa riferimento alle velocità minime di scrittura per differenziare le schede fra loro. Ad esempio, la Classe di velocità UHS-I 1 ha una velocità minima di scrittura di 10MB/s. Contrariamente a quanto ho letto in alcune recensioni, non è necessario formattare la memoria prima dell'uso.
Montata sul Huawei di mia moglie, la velocità di lettura delle immagini in fase di creazione di anteprima non è da 3.0 ma non hai mai dato problemi in fase di scrittura. L'integrità dei file è assicurata. L'adattatore come accessorio da un valore aggiuntivo all'acquisto.
