I'm glad I found this tea and trusted the reviews, because they're right... this is just really good green tea I can drink all day long, and I notice it makes me way calmer than other green teas I've had. The caffeine punch seems much more slowly released, rather than something from a strong gunpowder for example. I work as a massage therapist, and I steep 2 bags in a big, covered ceramic mug. I sip it slowly throughout my sessions and I never take the tea bags out. The taste gets stronger but never bitter, and tastes just as good whether freshly hot, or at room temperature after being steeped for hours. Tastes great without any added sweetener. It's a hearty cuppa.
I removed all of the bags from their individual packages and I keep them all in a sealed mason jar. There is a dab of glue on the mesh bag that the string attaches to, which is maybe the only bad thing about this tea... sometimes I just remove the glue and string entirely because I wonder if it's somehow a bit toxic, but I'm probably paranoid. The bags are powdery, but I never notice that powder in my tea because it's extremely fine powder (not loose tea leaves) and it's not a lot of it. The color of the tea is ACTUALLY green, too! A bright colored green, not amber at all.
Update: Still drinking this tea regularly after over a year or so. I have found that it also makes great *cold-brewed* tea. To do this, I put several bags in a large pitcher of filtered water, and simply let it sit for 8-12 hours (overnight). Result: a great-tasting pitcher of green tea you can drink all day long from the moment you wake up, no preparation. Sometimes I add lemon or ginger.

Ups delivered, came like in the pictures, I really wish this company would've boxed my order to protect it. The exterior box, as I'm sure you can see is a little more than damp. I'm just happy the tea inside was not ruined or damaged; the glossy exterior of the individual packets of tea protected them.When you open the packet of tea, your nose if filled with the sent of matcha. The tea bag itself seems high quality. The tea is a nice green color, not like the brown "green tea" you usually see at a store.I like both hot and cold green tea, but for this I had it chilled. The taste is delicious.Im disappointed, at best, with how Kev and Cooper LLC chose to send me this package. They seriously only slapped a few shipping labels on it and called it a day. It was not protected from the elements( in this case, rain).Kirkland's matcha blend green tea is lovely. Not sweet, which it shouldn't be, but just perfect with the right blend of matcha in this green tea.The tea itself is worth 5 or 6 stars. One star should be removed because of the thoughtless packaging issue, but the tea was not harmed because of it so I'll refrain from doing so. If you haven't had this kind of tea before, try it. If you love match and are afraid of this not being all it's cracked up to be, try this. You won't be disappointed in it quality.
