I am furious and disgusted that both parchment papers came with insects in them! I believe they are booklice. It's hard to tell from the picture and even difficult to identify in person because the insects are so tiny. But the insects are attracted to paper and they were ALL OVER the parchment paper.
It was so disgusting when I opened it up to use that there were hundreds of them coming out of the parchment paper. And I am furious because I left the parchment paper in my kitchen cabinet for storage overnight and these insects have infested everything in my cabinets that were made of paper (think cereal box, all cardboard containers).
They are so tiny so it's really difficult to see them if you're not paying close attention. I know this product got great reviews, so I don't know if it's something that happened during shipping or if it's an issue at the warehouse where the item was stored.. but just be aware that there may be insects in them. I rarely write reviews, but it has been a nightmare cleaning out all the booklice that have infected my kitchen cabinets and I do not want this horrible experience to happen to anyone else.
