If you have been following the Enchanted, Inc series, don't hesitate. Get this book. There was action, drama, romance, supernatural elements and a new enemy to make this story bigger and better than the previous books. Being the romantic fan girl that I am, all I really wanted was for the books to focus on growing and solidifying Owen and Katie's relationship and "Kiss and Tell" definitely brings the love. They were absolutely sweet and yet, stayed true to their nature despite the odds. The writing was awesome as always. I was practically glued from chapter to chapter. If you are unfamiliar with the series, I would recommend reading from the start. There was a lot of back story that is needed to truly appreciate the nuances. I really can't wait for the next (and maybe the final) book in the series. With the way the story ended, it's going to be awesome.
First off, you can't invest in the series if you don't invest in Katie and Owen and I just can't invest in Katie and Owen. For starters, they have no sexual chemistry. Katie seems like an afterthought to Owen most of the time and the rest of the time Katie seems like Owen's lapdog.
Now, granted, this book shows more growth for Katie and Owen as a couple than any of the previous six combined. The problem is, I think it might be too late for me. I'm beyond caring. I can't get worked up for Katie and Owen's future because I can barely get worked up for their present.
I don't think all books have to be full of sex, but that's what this series was severely lacking: sex appeal. It just got old after awhile. I've given it a little thought and realized it's kind of like a middle school girl's idealized version of a relationship - and I just don't think that's long-lasting.
I bought this book the day it came out and started it about a week later. I've literally put it down five times and had to force myself to pick it back up five times to finish it.

Fairytale romance without hot sex but filled with magic. Very refreshing.
