Overall, it wasn't bad and it improved on the first one.
Marisol meets with a messenger (not meant for her) looking for information on her missing brother. When the messenger doesn't give over the information willingly the fight and she ends up killing him. (On a sidenote, now I must say it bugged me a little that we weren't told why she thought he might have info or any of that.) Blade meets her in the tavern where she is escaping the soldiers outside who will find the body soon. He helps her out of a situation with another customer and escorts her out of the tavern. She ends up stealing a cameo from him and when he finds out he is ANGRY.
He ends up meeting up with her again and after finding other items on her (like the message) he takes her to his ship. They end up making a deal, he takes her to the ship that she thinks her brother is on and she will return the cameo. Lots happen along the way and Blade doesn't disappoint as a lover. ;) Enjoy reading. I would still recommend this book.
