I appreciated that the book was edited. This is not always the case with free books and lack of editing can get in the way of discovering magical storytellers.
This book is not really a look into Paris, and does not make many references to Parisian or French culture. This book is more about the complexities of relationships and the fact that lived life is not a straight line. Eliza Watson has done a nice job of illustrating how often we know so little about situations that we assume to understand.
I look forward to seeing this writer continue to develop her skills.
Kissing my Old LIfe Au Revoir is a light, fun, funny romantic tale about taking risks vs staying safe; keeping the status quo or discovering what will truly make you happy. I highly recomend this book and I'm looking forward for Ms Watson's next release.

So although it only briefly mentions Rachel Shaw I kind of think you need to read it first.. the characters have too many similarities though Sam like Rachel goes through a realisation that her work shouldn't be consuming her life. Luc like Declan has a Celtic cross tattoo and bracelet representing the love he had for a now dead wife. Too many red heads. I can go on but you need to read it..
I gave it 3 stars and that felt mean.. can't give a half so it's got 4.. it's not a bad read but she needs to broaden her descriptive language and create completely new characters not just rename and partially reinvent old ones for new books.
