Product Description

Over 25 years ago the Old Stone Oven Company first introduced the original baking stone for home use, designed by international pizza expert, Pasquale Bruno. It is still the best on the market. It has a porosity and heat retention that is unmatched for giving a delicate crispy, restaurant-quality crust to any pizza, focaccia or bread in a standard home oven. Stone is a pure ceramic product made of clays fired at over 2000-degrees Fahrenheit. 7-inch by 10-inch fits all Toaster Ovens or can also be used in the microwave by preheating for 5 minutes. Perfect for re-crisping last night's pizza, baking frozen pizza slices or made-from-scratch mini-pizzas. Complete instructions and recipes are included. Made in the USA.

This is a very high quality baking stone! Plus, much to my surprise, it's Made in U.S.A.! Which is a great plus! The baking stone has multiple uses. Great for pizza, cookies, breads and rolls among others. Very easy to clean up. Absolutely nothing sticks to it, not even burnt on pizza cheese and sauce. The stone is very solid and thick, not cheap and flimsy like many others! It's a great addition for my Cuisinart TOB-195 convection oven, which I also purchased from Amazon.com. I'm so pleased with this baking stone I'm going to purchase the set of 2 round stones from Amazon.com. You can't beat the price for a high quality "Made in U.S.A." product like this! Plus you're helping someone to keep their job! Just a note on the shipping (since there are some negatives on this subject), Amazon packaged the stone very well in bubble wrap, the box it came in was very study. The box didn't even have a dent in it! The stone was delivered in "Perfect" codition! Amazon.com is always the best place to shop online. If you do have a problem, their customer service is positively the best of any retailer, online or brick and mortar!

This stone works great for heating those left over pizza slices or small personal pizzas. I put it in the toaster oven and preheat on max temp. This stone gets those pizza slices nice and crispy and saves you from having to use the large oven with pizza stone . Note it also helps with keeping toaster oven cleaner by avoiding all that dripping cheese. Stone will discolor but all pizza stones do and eventually it will season to a dark brown color. Check your ovens internal measurements as this stone is a little smaller as my toaster oven is a compact model.

Don't bother with this item. It was OK for use the first 3 times. After that, the stone stunk and made the food we cooked on it have a bad taste. When we cooked on it the last time, not only did our food taste weird, but the house smelled bad. We threw it away - couldn't use it any more. Tried to save some money and not buy the one from Pampered Chef... Should have just bit the bullet and bought that one

This stone fits perfect in my toaster oven. The problem that I have is that the first stone sent to me arrived broken. One corner was broken due to very poor packaging. Luckily Amazon has an amazing return process. The second stone arrived the next day (again packaged poorly). After unwrapping this one I noticed that a chip was missing out of a corner. I decided to "buck up" and accept this one. But it, like the other one, is extremely "grainy". It feels very rough unlike my pizza stone that I've used for years. I have yet to cook on it. But this is one of those items that that I probably should have picked up at the local store after seeing it in person.

This item arrived very well packed to ensure it wouldn't break in shipping. I was impressed! I originally bought this for my toaster oven, but used it in the large oven after realizing my artisan bread would likely rise too much in the smaller oven. This stone performed as expected. Great buy, easy to store due to its size. It will allow for a small pizza (for two). Get a larger size for a larger pizza. This is perfect for just about every loaf of bread you may bake.

It's a perfect fit for my old toaster oven. Give it a little preheat and re-heats previously baked pizza slices to perfection: evenly heated, tender where it needs to be, crispy where it should be. I love this stone. I discolors and stains a bit, but that has no effect on it's otherwise excellent performance. A must-buy for toaster oven owners. Highly recommended.

I ordered this stone to use as a multi-use baking stone in my toaster oven. When I received it, I read that it is for pizza ONLY. You cannot put anything with fat content on it because that will cause smoke and taste issues. I guess I was thinking I could use it like any of my large baking stones. I did finally find a small baking stone that I can use for anything. The Pampered Chef small bar pan (stone) works very well, for pizzas and many other things. I have yet to use this Kitchen Supply pizza stone, so I cannot compare the performance of the two different stones when it comes to baking pizzas.
