Took 10 seconds to properly incorporate the dry ingredients, few more seconds to incorporate the raisons and properly mixed, unlike my old mixer where the dough was at the bottom and the raisins at the top in the bowl.
I want to address those who had problem with beaters, make sure you put them in the correct slot and then hear them CLICK into place when installing. When you push the release button to eject the beaters, if using 2 beaters press the release button TWICE, once for the 'main' beater and 2nd time for the auxiliary beater, works perfectly.
If using only one beater, ie whisk or drink mixer tool always put in the right side (when looking at the bottom), the special slightly larger hole.
If this little hand mixer can handle my oatmeal cookie dough then it can handle everything. BUT I don't bake bread and would not bother depending on this mixer for bread baking.
