Product Description

This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by sauteing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.

The absolute best set of pots and pans. I have no regrets or buyer's remorse whatsoever about this phenomenal set. Completely non-stick, easy to handle, perfect pour spouts and wonderfully fitted lids. If Kitchenaid were to ask me for a critique I would only say that I wish the sauce pans and stock pots were more wide rather than tall. Other than that the pieces store easily, clean well and are my go-to for everything. I highly recommend. Quite frankly, I doubt even higher end sets could compare to the functionality, look and usability of this one.

This set is just what my wife wanted. Easy to use & clean, (no dish washer for these). The only problem we have is the small skilit discolored on the bottom, (we have a glass topped stove). Some experimentation may be needed to get the cooking temps right. Great Set & arrived before it was promised.

Only complaint and the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that that they seem to stain easily on the outside. Other than that they are awesome and cook perfectly!

I bought these lovelies right before Christmas and given Kitchen-Aids high reputation thought these would be excellent...false. The skillets are tiny, the pots are tall and narrow and despite never washing them in the dishwasher they are still very discolored. Save your money and invest in something a bit more high-end. Just my 2 cents.

Updated - After 8 months or so of using this set of cookware I am done. I pulled them out of my cabinets and will be donating these. The handles are horrible and we are constantly burning our fingers. They are grossly discolored (moreso than before) and I'm completely disappointed that I wasted my money.

I bought these for the wife for Christmas to replace an aging Pampered Chef set. I got these on a special deal for $99. They are very nice and solidly built. No issues with them. The only complaint might be that the handles only have the rubber coating on the bottom side; sometimes the top metal can get a little warm. The only other nit is that it didn't have the giant skillet like the PC set; we ended up keeping that one (lightly used anyways) and it matches very well.

Our family have been using these pots and pans for the last month and they are simply awesome and better value than many of the "high priced" alternatives. Durable and medium weight cookware is essential for electric and gas range stove tops and KichenAid have delivered exceptional quality at a price that was good for us.

The handles are very comfortable. The Anodized non-stick coating does not flake and stands up to very high heat.

UPDATE (1/20/2014):
Pans are still excellent, but they come with an outer coating that comes off in the dishwasher. It doesn't create a problem, just a nuisance because once it starts coming off, I recommend just removing the rest and be done with it. The non-stick (inside) of the pans are not affected.

I have had this set just a few weeks but I am very happy with it. I had first purchased a well known brand in stainless but decided that it was not going to be what I wanted. On recommendation of internet reviews, I ordered this one and it is great!! One thing I especially like is that it includes a 3 qt. saucepan. I had difficulty finding that in most brands. It also cleans VERY easily! Thank you, Kitchen Aid for making a good set of cookware at a reasonable price!

This cookware is a nice weight and looks attractive and seems very sturdy. The glass lids make the cookware very useable. I've used it for only a few days now, but it cooks very well and cleanup is a breeze. The fact that you shouldn't put it in the dishwasher is not a big deal for me. What I am very disappointed in is that there is no lid for the 8.5 inch saute pan. This is my go to pan for eggs/omelets/onions, etc and there is NO LID! There are 2 10 inch lids and I would rather have 1 8.5 in. lid and 1 10 in. lid vs 2 10 in. lids. The description is vague on this detail. It's actually a deal breaker for me, had I known this.....I would not have ordered it. :o(
