Juice citrus fruits quickly and easily with the power of your stand mixer. Simply attach the KitchenAid Citrus Juicer to the stand mixer hub and get juicing directly into a bowl, pitcher or cup. For everything you want to make. KitchenAid.
This attachment turns your KitchenAid stand mixer into a citrus juicer, eliminating the need for a second appliance that would take up valuable kitchen storage and counter space. Its four parts--heavy-duty aluminum shaft, reamer, shield, and strainer--are easy to assemble and attach to the stand mixer's powerful motor. Turn the mixer speed to level 6, and the reamer maintains a fast and steady spin. Press your fruit halves against it, and the juice pours out. You do have to exert a bit of pressure to extract all of the juice, but it's certainly not difficult to use. The strainer basket holds back the pulp and seeds as the juice flows into your pitcher. --Betsy Danheim

Dear Nikita *********,
Thank you for contacting KitchenAid! I am sorry to learn that the citrus juicer attachment is leaking oil.
The JE housing has an oil impregnated‖ copper bearing that can produce an oily discharge when it becomes warm. Occasionally the oil may be present in the juice and cause it to appear grayish or streaky. The oil is FDA approved, so it will not harm the consumer if digested.

I ordered it from Amazon on March 19, 2013 and it was delivered in two days. We loved this thing for two years and it did a great job juicing oranges and lemons.
In year 3, I noticed some black oily substance on the juicer. The first time, I cleaned it up and did not pay much attention to it. Then it became a problem. I read the reviews and discovered I was not the only one with the problem. The reviews seem to indicate it was useless in trying to get help from KitchenAid. KitchenAid claimed it was a food grade oil lubricant and was not harmful. That may be so, but it should not be leaking. I could not removed the drive shaft and figured something was really be broken. I threw it in the recycling barrel and went looking for something else.
I went in search of a replacement. I found Dash Go Citrus Juicer and while it does not say Sunbeam it looks just like my old one that gave me over 10 years use and I hope this one does too because the KitchenAid ended up being a disappointment.
5 Gallons of Home Squozed Lemonade
Juice from 6 pounds of lemons, finely filtered in a sieve
6 cups of sugar
3 gallons of filtered water
Bag of ice
Use a slotted spoon to stir everything but the ice in a five gallon cooler until the sugar is well dissolved. Stir in enough ice to make five gallons.
1st Update: 4 stars to 2 stars ==> Update: It CRACKED!! I do not juice that much. In about 6 weeks it has cracked around the hole the turning spindle goes through. It does not photograph well, but I will try to add some photos. I imagine it will get worse. Whatever happened to Kitchenaid's quality? In addition, it needs a food grade oil or the spindle gets hot and can get stuck so that it is difficult to take apart for cleaning (I attached a photo of where I put a food oil).
Old Review: Nice to have. I keep it attached to my KitchenAid most of the time. I juice oranges many times a week.
It is perfect for lemons and limes. Other reviewers stated they would not use it for one lemon or lime. Well, I sure do. I have no trouble using it for one, or even a half of either. Much easier than a hand press.
I heat my citrus before juicing. That seems to get the highest yield per fruit. 30 seconds for oranges, 10 to 20 seconds for lemons or limes.
