I made this to use salsa, it was the main reason I got it. It works so well and it’s smaller size makes perfect portions! The blending power is perfect and it’s cool how the handle itself is the lever to pulse which is how you either chop or purée. It’s color is really nice too.

Who knew? Kitchen Aide makes a toaster, too! It is has a pleasingly 'stunning' appearance - not a word I'd normally use to describe a toaster! Far from drab and boring, the eye-catching, bright-red color and sleek design that is unique and oddly classic yet modern, fit my taste like no other I've ever seen!

But this toaster isn't just for looks! It's crafted solidly with sturdy, well-coated, quality materials to last, yet it is not too heavy, which makes it easy to move. A pull out tray makes cleaning easy. Its narrow design was a dream come true to fit my limited kitchen counter space. The shape is ingenious, in that it makes use of some of the usually wasted elongated space between the wall and counter edge while preserving much-valuable space. Two normal-sized slices fit side-by-side going lengthwise. But the toaster easily has the capacity to accommodate Belgium waffles, large hamburger buns, and also homemade and bread-maker breads that often are taller or denser.

Another thing that I think makes this toaster special is that it has a more versatile combination of warming and defrosting settings that other toasters I've seen don't have; it can accommodate breads, waffles, bagles, buns, tarts of any size or thickness without leaving its owner to unplug it and dig and poke. Also, this toaster browns consistently even and, incredibly, I have never had burnt bread since using this toaster! The setting buttons light up when pressed.

My kitchen is happier and brighter, and the toaster lives up to the reliable Kitchen Aid name.

The toaster arrived quickly and in good condition, and I expect it to be the last toaster I'll need to buy.

This is a well made toaster and is beautifully designed. The only thing that bothers me about it is the power cord. It's very sturdy and well made, but it's ugly and very "there". I think that if you have an outlet that is in the counter instead of on the wall, it would look much better. As it is, I hide the cord behind my utensil holder.

As far as the toaster itself. It's gorgeous. I love to use it and I love to look at it. It is a bit pricey, but I'm very happy that I bought it. It adds a very interesting touch of color into my kitchen. Every time I walk by it, I think about how much I love it.

Ok - so that everyone knows. In April 2016 I bought a KitchenAid KHB2352CU 3-Speed Hand Blender which was the most complete set full of accesories. Because I live in South America someone plugged it directly into the outlet with the transformer and burned it. I chatted with Kitchenaid trying to get them to advise me if I could buy just a blender which would be compatible with the accesories so I wouldn't have to throw them away. They kept repeating like robots (and they weren't) that they had no product compatible and that I needed to contact the International site. So I just took a leap of faith and bought this one which looked almost identical to my burnt one. As it turned out it's EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL. I can use it with all my old accesories. So ladies and gentlement DO NOT BE FOOLED by these companies that tell you you have to buy the whole thing. I just saved like 300 dollars buying the blender for 49 and using my old (almost new) accesories. As for the product itself, I don't find it extremely powerful, the button is kind of uncomfortable and I wish it had some accesory that you could nail to the wall and hang the blender there. I just bought it because it was cheap and had the accessories. With Kitchenaid I find that the stand mixer and the food processor are amazing but blenders, hand blenders and kitchen utensils are not very good quality.

This is an excellent handheld blender. I took off one star for the fact that there is a safety warning label on the power cord about additives in the handgrip. You have to wash your hands after each use due to chemical exposure (carcinogens?). So, instead, I wear Nitrile gloves when I handle this thing. Easier and safer for me. It would be better if they could use something else, but since everything is made in China, it may not be possible. Who knows? Nice appliance all the same. Easy to use, take apart (unlatching the blender stem from the motor/handle is one deft twist and pull), and wash. A good replacement for my ancient Braun hand blender, which was all one piece.
Interesting: The Kitchenaid has a sharp blender blade; while the Braun's was always blunt - only good for smoothing cooked ingredients - the wetter the better.

I got tired of very cheap stuff so I bit the bullet and got a Kitchen Aid toaster and electric kettle. The toaster is first rate great materials and looks very good if a little bold. This was a gift for my wife (I know diamonds would be better but...) so the hundredth anniversary stripe of little hearts is sweet. But more importantly how does it work. Well I have not used it tons but certainly bagels come out perfectly toasted the whole bagel is warm but not burnt (the darkness settings work well). As you can see if you look at the product it looks fab with any kitchen decor. If bold red is not your cup of tea then I think it comes in many different colors (anniversary model is red only). It is pricey for a toaster but as the old saying goes you always get what you pay for.

The Good:
•Good basic (visual) design
•Good form factor
•Clever crumb drawer

The Mediocre:
•Positioning of toast darkness handle not ideal compared to main lever - too close, and lever sizes seem reversed
•Darkness of toast not particularly golden or dark until setting is quite high visually
•Darkness of toast not uniform
•Metal protruding from the top becomes quite hot, and is a burn risk, particularly for kids

Notes:
For the money I expected the same kind of quality as the stand mixer, pots, and roaster that I own from Kitchen Aid. Sadly, this is not the case. The primary material is plastic all around. The awkward positioning, combined with the shapes/sized of the two primary levers - which are very close to each other - leaves the main things about this toaster feeling dissatisfying. I decided to return it in favour of trying another brand.
