Like the color that’s about it. I only had it a few weeks and top broken. I have to manually open every time. Point spout allows hot water to come splashing out the sides. On top of that it was expensive and doesn’t even keep water warm after boiling.

I wish I had not wasted my money on this kettle. I had to send the first one back because the lid did not close enough which caused the water to continuously boil at boiling point, I had to press the lid down for it to stop.
Now the replacement is doing the same thing. It reaches boiling point and just keeps boiling. Can possibly be dangerous if all the water boils off if you are not standing there waiting for it to boil.
The lid pushes up once boiling point hits and all the steam comes out which is probably what's preventing it from turning off. The lid doesnt have a latch when you close it. I've had a $30 kettle that was better designed.
It does clean very well with white vinegar.

I use a hand blender for mainly one reason , Soups. I like med to thick creamy soups. After cooking , say, peas with carrots, celery, onion, touch of garlic and a ham bone with some meat and spices, I then remove the bones and blend until just specs remain. This is basic for me with chowders and other soups. This blender works perfect and replaced another I had for years. However, this blender has a twist on lower blade that does will twist off easy if enough pressure is applied during use. Another model that is more expensive should have a button type locking. For my limited use it works fine and fishing for the lower half with tongs a couple of times has been a pain not a problem of purpose.

The Good:
•Good basic (visual) design
•Good form factor
•Clever crumb drawer

The Mediocre:
•Positioning of toast darkness handle not ideal compared to main lever - too close, and lever sizes seem reversed
•Darkness of toast not particularly golden or dark until setting is quite high visually
•Darkness of toast not uniform
•Metal protruding from the top becomes quite hot, and is a burn risk, particularly for kids

Notes:
For the money I expected the same kind of quality as the stand mixer, pots, and roaster that I own from Kitchen Aid. Sadly, this is not the case. The primary material is plastic all around. The awkward positioning, combined with the shapes/sized of the two primary levers - which are very close to each other - leaves the main things about this toaster feeling dissatisfying. I decided to return it in favour of trying another brand.

I got tired of very cheap stuff so I bit the bullet and got a Kitchen Aid toaster and electric kettle. The toaster is first rate great materials and looks very good if a little bold. This was a gift for my wife (I know diamonds would be better but...) so the hundredth anniversary stripe of little hearts is sweet. But more importantly how does it work. Well I have not used it tons but certainly bagels come out perfectly toasted the whole bagel is warm but not burnt (the darkness settings work well). As you can see if you look at the product it looks fab with any kitchen decor. If bold red is not your cup of tea then I think it comes in many different colors (anniversary model is red only). It is pricey for a toaster but as the old saying goes you always get what you pay for.

This is an excellent handheld blender. I took off one star for the fact that there is a safety warning label on the power cord about additives in the handgrip. You have to wash your hands after each use due to chemical exposure (carcinogens?). So, instead, I wear Nitrile gloves when I handle this thing. Easier and safer for me. It would be better if they could use something else, but since everything is made in China, it may not be possible. Who knows? Nice appliance all the same. Easy to use, take apart (unlatching the blender stem from the motor/handle is one deft twist and pull), and wash. A good replacement for my ancient Braun hand blender, which was all one piece.
Interesting: The Kitchenaid has a sharp blender blade; while the Braun's was always blunt - only good for smoothing cooked ingredients - the wetter the better.
