This scale seems fairly accurate, it will fluctuate .1 more or less consistently sometimes. The delay is far too significant to be used for coffee purposes. I personally just use this to weigh my beans before putting in the areopress. I also will weigh my water as I put it in just to see if I got my bloom volume correct, but it's not until a half a second after I stop that the scale stops adjusting.
The buttons have no action so you can't really tell if you've started the timer or not. You just kinda know how it feels to start it and then you have to wait a full second to see if it actually started or not.
If you're buying this as a regular scale, it's a fine scale. A little big and I would look elsewhere but definitely gets the job done. Would not recommend as a coffee scale.

I did a LOT of research before buying this scale. There are alot of cheap scales out there, and most of them are just ok. This falls into the same category.
Pros
- Looks great
- Easy to read numbering (some other cheap ones are surprisingly hard to read)
- Accurate when compared to my other scales
- Responsive & quick measuring
- Silent (some people love the beeps, I hate it)
Cons
- Biggest con: Tare button is hard to push and doesn't always register. Thankfully its not the timer start/stop, but still.
- Would have like the timer to have a milliseconds readout, its hard to tell when it starts so I'm just 1 second behind. Not that it matters but still, its kind of annoying
- Light & somewhat cheaply made
Overall
- Its fine. Its a cheap way to start, but I only use this for coffee anyway. I would use my AWS for more precise smaller measurements, or my Ozeri for baking/cooking. But if you want a starter coffee scale, you'll get what you pay for. At least it looks slick on my countertop, and that does go a long way.

after a rocky start....Seems to be a good inexpensive scale for Espresso shots...

So, the first one I ordered konked out on me within 2 weeks....after wiping it down with a damp cloth, the display went haywire and threw out some odd numbers and symbols. Amazon replaced it with another one which has been working (knock on wood) for several months. I am pretty gentle with it, thinking these are poorly made and not built to last....but hopefully the first one was just a random bad apple.
Like the big easy to read display. The color of the readout is pleasing. it seems accurate...I use it to measure out 20 grams of beans to grind, and then use it to weigh/time the extraction when using my Rocket Apparamento .machine. -----Should this one stop working, I think I would purchase another one....the price is much cheaper than those Acacia ones and they do literally the same thing.

Very happy so far with this purchase. The size is nice and compact. The scale seems accurate and does exactly what I need: Measure espresso in grams, tare, stop watch. Very simple and not complicated. Has a silicone mat on top and the feet are non-slip. I was going to purchase a scale twice the price, but thought I would try out this one. Glad I did!

This scale works very quickly and seems to be accurate for measuring coffee-related weights. My favorite aspect of the scale is actually the LED digits. They light up in a very soothing and high-tech way. The rest of the scale is rather plastically and doesn't seem very high quality. The worst thing about the scale is that the buttons don't have any meaningful feedback. I believe the buttons are touch-based so it's kind of difficult to know whether or not you actually pressed the start/stop button. Sometimes I would press the start/stop button twice because I wasn't sure I pressed it the first time.

In a world of overpriced coffee scales obsessed with Bluetooth connectivity, this is a good cost-effective option, but it does have some notable drawbacks.
The biggest one for me is that it sometimes takes a full second to come to the correct weight - I'll scoop coffee beans into a container as it sits on the scale, the display will adjust rapidly to tell me the weight, and then a *full second* after I stop touching anything and the display stops changing, the weight on the scale will jump up or down unprompted, often by a full gram. That doesn't sound like much time but practically it's more than enough to start putting your beans away. I ordered a replacement thinking this was a defective model, but the issue is present on the replacement as well.
Beyond that I have no big complaints, just than that the refresh rate of the display is somewhat low for water pouring, and the timer button doesn't have a millisecond display so you have to wait a full second to know you've successfully started it, as the buttons are flat and provide no physical or audible feedback when touched. A small problem, but also something so simple that it feels like the manufacturer knew that coffee people wanted a timer in their scale but didn't actually have anyone test using it - if they did, these basic quality-of-life issues would have been ironed out.
But don't get me wrong - it looks nice, seems to be built well, and comes with a durable anti-slip cover. For the price, this is a good scale.

Great for refining your brew recipe and technique.

Overall very happy with the scales considering the price they were. Build quality is ok but to be fair, at this price point it’s not fair to expect too much.
It doesn’t quite fit under the portafilter on my small machine which is fine it’s a small machine etc, the timer is handy for measuring how long your extraction took and if you tare/zero the scale with the mug on it you can measure your extracted coffees weight for reference.
They’re functional and the extra decimal point of accuracy really helps you experiment and refine your extraction etc. Touchscreen buttons seem to work fine and the silicone mat that goes on the weighing platform is removable for cleaning which is handy. But it doesn’t really have any locating lugs etc it just kinda buts up against one edge. Again at this price you can’t expect it all, the mat works fine and it being removable is handy.
In conclusion, good price, ok build quality and the extra accuracy and timer are very helpful. These scales will help you experiment and dial in the amount of grounds in, tamp pressure and extraction time, and coffee out amount. Which are the main key factors in a cup of good coffee.

Absolutely brilliant little device, perfect for those of us who like the manual process of weighing out beans and water and don't need or care for any of the fuss of smart scales. Simple operation, accurate display as far as I can tell. Goes to prove that even with fancy coffee you don't need to spend a tonne to get it :-)

Works fine, but buttons aren’t always as sensitive as I’d like. A bit big to fit on the Sage Bambino stage
Edit: has stopped working after 2.5mths. Changed batteries etc and still doesn’t power on.

Very happy with my one, responsive, accurate and large enough to fit my Sage DB portafilter diagonally. The rubber mat is handly and have found it useful when cooking for my 1l pan as well. Only niggle is that the display is ridiculously bright!

I needed a scale to calibrate my new espresso machine and I didn’t wanna spend a fortune on a high end coffee scale, so I came across this and decided to give it a go. It works great! It takes a second to register the weight difference so just give it the time to register, but it shows the weight increase even with as little as one bean at a time.
