As someone that has traveled to New Zealand, and has fallen in love with the country and people, and also is an aviation enthusiast, I wanted to understand more about this aspect of Kiwi life and culture. This book is very matter-of-fact presentation of data, and not much a personal insight, apart from a few brief quotations. It has helped me understand more of NZ defense strategy, but a map showing the key bases routinely cited in the boom.
