I was impressed with the professional talent that went into creating Klarissa Dreams. The artwork is really special. Each picture tells a story all by itself. The poems and short story collection were so touching, funny sometimes, and always found a place in my heart. I particularly liked "Masking the Mask" by Michael H. Hanson and "An Answer within Me" by Riley Steel. Those poems really stuck a cord of truth within. The story excerpt "Birthright Bestowed" by Erika Szabo was extremely visual in language and brought a clear imagery of the girl and her dream as she discovers her gift of healing. I also enjoyed "Alone In My Thoughts" by John Manning. The poem had a feeling of offered friendship, of peace for the weary soul. Very well written!!
My favorite picture was "MASQUERADE" with a beautiful woman partly hiding behind a bronze mask. I also thought "EVE" was extremely creative with the apple and the snake. Her smile is just naughty enough to show the temptations running through her mind, much more realistic than the angelic pictures others have created. "BETH" was beautiful and went well with the poem "Goddess" by Riley Steel.
This book is a work of art on so many levels and has such a positive feeling since its intent is to benefit Lupus and Cancer research. A worth cause to support!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.

With canvas and brush, Klarissa paints her stories and verses. This is a beautiful collection of her artistry and rather diverse short stories and verses that were inspired by her works. It was an unexpected honor to be involved in this amazing book. I have read this book slowly, savoring each morsel. I would wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful book, written to aid lupus and cancer research. You won't regret purchasing this book full of artistry.

I want to thank all those involved in creating 'Klarissa Dreams'... many contributed from several countries. And my paintings needed these writers who wrote such beautiful poems, short stories and excerpts from their published books. They chose a painting that inspired them and then wrote wonderful pieces of prose or poetry that enhanced my paintings and I am so grateful that they did. It is their contribution that has made KD such a success not just my paintings. I know that for a certainty. Thank you all!

One of those rare books that almost defies description ... other than to say that it is exceptional, and ought to be on your bookshelf (or Kindle device).
Short stories, prose, haiku: all inspired by the pictures, included, by a very talented artist. This eclectic selection can have you laughing, weeping, and even gently scared. The variety is astounding; the concept brilliant; and the whole thing is less of a tour-de-force, and more of a tour-de-purpose. The purpose is to support two worthy causes, and if that isn't enough reason to buy, there is a tremendous wealth of talent here; displayed in different forms.
Yes: the standard has its range, but never drops below excellent. I have my favourites, several of them, and if you invest in this unique collection, I'm certain you will find your own.
A project of this magnitude must, surely, have contained its fair share of problems, hiccoughs, and headaches. It is a tribute to all involved that it came to fruition ... and the best tribute to all involved in the books creation, is to buy it, and simply enjoy!
