Whether you’re rockin' out to "Ice, Ice Baby" or feelin' "Hot, Hot, Hot", the 20oz Kanteen Wide Insulated will keep the temperature just right. Since it's our largest Insulated bottle, it can also hang with you for the long haul. Whatever food or drink you’re packing, whether you poured it in hot or cold, the 20oz Kanteen Wide Insulated has double-walled, vacuum insulation to keep it that way: up to six hours for hot stuff, and more than 24 for iced drinks. Because the bottle is made from high quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel and has a 100% stainless interior, it won’t retain or impart flavors no matter what you put in it. That’s a good thing. Because the tastes of split pea soup, chai tea, and blueberry/banana smoothie simply should not be mixed. With an all-stainless interior and no liner, you won’t have any lingering flavors either. Because the last thing you need is junior coming home from school complaining that his smoothie tasted like your coffee from the day before. The leakproof Stainless Loop Cap creates an all-stainless interior in the bottle and gives you peace of mind if you want to toss it in a bag or lunch box. You can drink straight from the bottle, which has a cup-like feel and comfortable narrow rim, or the sleek Café Cap to convert the bottle into a to-go mug.

Be careful when carrying it around with the cafe cap on. Just like it says it is not spillproof with that lid and I found out quickly. It spills with that lid pretty easily with a light shake but in my car cup holder I have zero problems. It's not that bad but if you're really worried about it you do have the solid cap as well.
I like this product a lot. It does what I wanted it to and I plan on having it for many years to come.
The packaging was lacking and I got this with a dent in the bottom. It sits level but i was a little dissapointed that it was packaged just in a box, not a box in a box. I didn't take any stars off because it's going to be going through a lot more abuse with me. I am rough on my toys but still expect it to last.
The wide mouth makes it easy to clean. The lids are easy to clean as well.
The stainless steel body is stain, odor, and taste resistant. (If you clean it!) You could put coffee in one day and water the next.
I don't like the feel of plastic lids but the steel edge is nice to drink from and doesn't alter the taste. For a plastic cap it's pretty nice though.
The 20oz size holds as much coffee as I would want. Since it stays hot or cold for so long a bigger size would make sense too if they made it.
I would recommend this to anyone.
I've had no problems with both the sealed lid or the carafe lid. Some have complained about the carafe lid leaking and being flimsy; however, it seems sturdy to me and didn't leak. Unlike the sealed lid, it is made with a hole in the top, and in my experience it didn't leak unless the container were turned over. I would expect as much.
Some have also complained of the lid's silicone gaskets coming out, particularly when storing hot coffee that has cooled off. I didn't have this problem either. I use coffee straight from the coffee pot. Perhaps others have heated their coffee hotter?
The only cons I can think of so far is that the container has a hefty diameter and the steel seems thin. That being said, though, I have no problems holding it myself; however, it might be a challenge for someone with small hands. And I plan on being careful not to drop or dent it. For the price I paid for it, I'll baby it!
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my Klean Kanteen. Before I purchased it, I did extensive research online and looked at Thermos, Camelback and Contigo at some of the retail stores. For me, the Klean Kanteen has the best design, has the easiest to clean lids, and seems more sturdy.
I highly recommend this cup!
P.s. The coffee top does leaks a little if you don't keep it straight, but the bottle comes with another top that you can use for traveling. I just don't care for the little dripping, I love this bottle.
