It seems to work initially. I did notice that the version shown in the listing photo with the made in USA logo (2nd photo I think) is different from what I got (see my photo). The one in that listing photo has cutting slots up to 18g, while the one I got maxes out at 16g. Mine also doesn't have the mm2 markings, only AWG. On the good side, mine has 2 punched stops in the jaws to prevent them from opening so far that the spring falls out.
