The Klein 31856 1-1/8-Inch Carbide Hole Cutter cuts quick, precise holes in stainless steel, mild steel, iron, copper and brass sheet up to 3/16-Inch (5 mm) thick. Its split point pilot drill bit prevents bit walking. The integrated flange prevents the operator from drilling beyond the sheet metal. Conduit and pipe sizes: 3/4-Inch.

not criticising the supplier,he delivered the product on time.However,the product itself from klein does not last as long as I believe that it should considering the price.I did not overspeed the hole cutter,nor did I cut anything other than mild steel.electricalboxes,went dull.would not buy again.

the tapered pilot bit is a life saver, sure you can get similar hole saws from china for 1/5th the price
but they dont have the tapered pilot drill

This is a must have for your electrical kit. Cuts clean 3/4 knock outs in a variety of materials ie stainless. This came in a hard plastic box that has room for the 7/8 bit (1/2 knockout). This picks up where the step bit leaves off.

cutting hole through 1/8 stainless steel had a little problem the trick was to go slow and use a water coolant after one hole the cutter was shot so it was an expensive cut
