Big Sound From a Small SystemIntroduced in 1998, the Quintet set the standard for big sound from small speakers, moving on to become Klipsch's best-selling surround sound system of all time. Now, in its fourth generation, this popular setup adopts both acoustic and aesthetic improvements. Since its inception, the Quintet has been the biggest sounding small system on the home theater market. It’s also a product that takes style very seriously. When Klipsch's engineers set out to refresh this product, they decided it had to look and sound better than ever.
Fill Your Room with Detailed, Full-bodied Sound on a Bigger Soundstage
The Klipsch Quintet bundles four speakers and a center channel together
The Klipsch Quintet bundles four speakers and a center channel together. Two of the speakers serve as front left and right main channels, while the other two operate as rear surrounds. The magnetically shielded center channel delivers crisp dialogue and precise imaging.
Sold separately, the SW-350 subwoofer perfectly anchors the Klipsch Quintet without dominating your room. It’s a smaller design that features a high-output 8-inch driver and new Class D digital amplifier for room-filling bass.
Continuing a mission that began in 1946 with Klipsch's first horn-loaded speakers, the latest Quintet advances their classic, proven technology to new levels of sophistication and brilliance. It features XT MicroTractrix Horn technology—an all-new design that allows these small speakers to deliver amazing detail, full-bodied sound and a wider soundstage than ever before.
It's All About Flexibility, Installation Ease and Style
Each speaker features five-way binding posts
Unlike similar priced systems, the Klipsch Quintet features high-quality five-way binding posts that accept heavy gauge wire, spade connectors or banana plugs. Each speaker incorporates a unique swiveling pedestal base that doubles as a wall bracket. The center channel can also be wall mounted by fastening an optional wall bracket to its ¼-inch-20 threaded insert.
Regardless of where you put it, the system has a clean, modern appearance that blends nicely with any décor. It features a satin black finish and black cloth grilles—a color scheme that beautifully complements today’s HDTVs.
Legal DisclaimerYou are buying the Klipsch Quintet 5 speaker setup only. Theses speakers do NOT come with a Subwoofer.

I used to sell home theater equipment for a living... we carried Bose, Polk, and many other speaker brands... Klipsch was always the most impressive. If we wanted to really "wow" a customer and get them excited about setting up their home theater, we showed them Klipsch; not Bose. Bose is a great product, but highly over-rated when compared side-by-side to the other top-notch speaker companies out there. Bose isn't terrible by any means, they make great products (I have Bose in my car and love it), but I just don't prefer them when I compare them with Klipsch.
That being said, these are my favorite speakers. I've heard the Klipsch systems with the larger almost-bookshelf speakers and they were absolutely better, but that was also reflected in the price tag. ALSO, I didn't want anything too large and intense-looking for my living room because I didn't want to push my luck too much with my significant other, so these are perfect. They're fairly small and have a HUGE sound. They fit my needs perfectly. I'm about to move and for the time-being I plan to just use 2 of the speakers with a subwoofer for a nice little 2.1 system until I'm ready to run wires and go back to 5.1. It's nice to have that flexibility.
Just have little patience, play all sort of music to open it's actual potential. Do not raise the volume initially to more than 60%. I would really recommend these speakers but remember that satellites are satellites and bookshelves are bookshelves. Any usage of music more than 35% should require bookshelves. These speakers are good for movies to music ratio of 70:30.
