    This must be part of some marketer's plan - and (sad to say) it succeeded: We thought the price was for a pair, and after having heard them at a B&M store had definitely settled on them as part of our upgrade to the (formerly) stereo system we were busy moving out of the 80's. Ordered what we thought was 1 pair, got 1 speaker, thought about it, decided we still wanted them (at the expense of putting off / potentially canceling more of the upgrade) and ordered another 1 speaker.
    We definitely love the sound (these augment some Klipsch Forte speakers we've had for years, and also love). We've learned not to assume - if it doesn't say "pair" it probably isn't.

    Klipsch is a high end speaker that is worth every nickle I spent on it. We re-constructed our basement and I wanted to put in in-wall/ in-ceiling sorround sound speaker system in (so we would not have any additional furnature items laying around or have any wood that my start molding) These speakers are absolutely amazing - I would have expected them to be for the price - but they truly are. Movie sound tracks come alive and are much better sounding that our local small seating movie theater. If you have the bucks, you wont go wrong

    I had my doubts about these speakers when I first received them. They are very light, and I just didn't expect the bass to deliver much as a result. I was very happily surprised, though, when I mounted them in my thick plaster walls. Coupled with a nice sub these deliver full room sound and are completely unobtrusive.
