CINEMATIC PERFORMANCE
The Reference Theater Pack delivers superior acoustic performance by leveraging Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofers. These exceptionally lightweight cones are extremely rigid – providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.
MINIMIZED DISTORTION
A Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS tweeters have been a hallmark of our Reference series product lines, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world.
HORN-LOADED POWER
Our exclusive Tractrix Horn Technology and aluminum tweeters deliver the most impressive high-end response and greater extension, enhanced imaging and powerful dynamics. This creates the cleanest, most natural sound possible.
WIRELESS, ROBUST BASS
The down-firing wireless subwoofer is designed to deliver room-filling low frequencies without requiring too much floorspace. The 2.4GHz connectivity allows for premium, CD-quality sound anywhere in the room. Simply connect the compact, pre-paired transmitter to the subwoofer or LFE out on your receiver and place the subwoofer where it sounds and fits best in your room.
FLEXIBLE SYSTEM PLACEMENT
To complement the easy placement of the wireless subwoofer, each satellite speaker has a keyhole mount and a ¼” x 20 threaded insert (the center channel has dual keyhole / inserts) for maximum mounting flexibility.

But there was a little problem that turned into a nightmare! Each one of the “legs” of the subwoofer should have a “rubber foot”, which is probably one of the simpler and inexpensive parts of it, and one was missing! It’s not glued, just inserted under pressure.
Why is this important?
If you put the subwoofer on a hard floor (my case), without the 4 little rubber feet, as it fires down, the subwoofer loses stability and the unprotected leg hits the floor, creating a noise that shouldn’t be there.
Klipsch customer service initially was exemplary, and immediately sends a replacement! But the replacement parts were wrong, not even belong to this subwoofer! Contacted the second time, and made sure they have the correct subwoofer model. They double check on their side to make sure all was right this time. The attendant apparently understood, went to another department to verify “what went wrong” and assured me will work this time!
Wrong part arrives again! Since the third time's a charm, this time I send pictures with arrows pointing the rubber foot and a schematic sketch so they could recognize the mysterious part.
Klipsch email answer: Go find this part on the secondary market… REALLY?
Because of the time spent, I can no longer return the product. To make even better, they lowered $100 of the price. Klipsch customer service was polite, but incompetent. I am using the system with a piece of cardboard under the leg, so I can repeat this story to all my friends, if they decide to buy anything from Klipsch.
I went to Best Buy. These speakers, Klipsch, were over $1,000 and I paid much less on Amazon. As I said, money being tight I bought my receiver, Onkyo AV TX-RZ730 a year ago from Amazon. Got it paid for, bought these wonderful sounding powerful Klipsch speakers and love them. Oh what a sound.
Next I am setting up my 65” QLED 70 series on my wall. Got it from NFM. Then lastly a beautiful vent free fireplace. It is going to be beautiful setting. I pray for many romantic nights with my gorgeous precious wife. Life is good when God is in control.
As I was saying, I went to Best Buy, and the Geek Squad came to my house, they said, if they could install my speakers, it was gonna cost a lot. So at 72 years old I did it myself. I put that Stereo cabinet together from Wayfair and it’s beautiful. I put wheels under it because loaded it will weigh 200 lbs. Almost solid wood.
Thank you Amazon for make life more affordable.

The Reference Series is one of the best on the market. I have listened to most of them through various receivers, and they all sound amazing. However, my room with my video game system has very limited space (aka man-cave), and although I wanted those large tower speakers, I simply had no room for them.
Enter the Reference Theater Pack, which came out in November 2017. I could not find them in a store to listen to because they were so new. I bought them on instinct and trust that if I liked all the other Reference speakers, I would like these. They are small, yet contain all the power of the Reference line.
One word: Amazing! I hooked them up to my brand new Denon receiver. I used AudioQuest X2 speaker wire (14 gauge) and took my time to hook up everything correctly. I booted up my Playstation 4 and played some games and movies. The sound was unlike anything I have heard before. First, the new receiver was picking up the correct Dolby format from the Playstation games and movies. Second, the sound out of each individual speaker was crystal clear. The highs, lows, and mids were all there. From a small, tiny sound in the background to a voice in the foreground, everything came alive. I was able to crank up the sound, and although it was loud, it did not hurt my ears.
One thing that attracted me to Klipsch all those years ago was how they incorporate bass into the rest of their sound. Sometimes, I hear systems where I can hear all the sound, and then some bass is thrown in on top. It drowns out everything else. I have never liked that style of sound creation. Instead, Klipsch’s bass is equally integrated into the rest of the sound. In other words, I know my subwoofer is on, but it never overpowers anything else. It can rattle my walls without hurting my ears.
These are the best 5.1 speakers I have ever heard. Their size and power are unmatched.
If there is one negative, it is how Klipsch designed the speaker wire plug on these speakers. You have to thread the wire through the frame of the speaker and then through the plug itself, which requires you to push and hold in order to get the wire through. If I was using a small gauge wire, this might not be hard to do. But the X2 14 gauge wire is as big as these speakers will take, and it was very hard to hook them up. I had a flashlight under my chin, a finger pushing in the plug, and a very steady hand to get those wires in. On small slip and the copper wire bunched up. I am not sure why Klipsch made this so hard to do.
Overall, I highly recommend these speakers. If you have a room limited by space, and these fit your needs, you will be very happy with this purchase. They have made every single game, movie, and TV show sound better and come alive with full audio immersion.

mon système 7.1 à 11.2(7.2.4 atmos dolby) pèse de moins de 2 kg par speaker idéal pour le plafond (sauf centre speaker) et un deuxième Subwoofer. C'est du tonnerre, je suis content.
For the moment it works wonderfully, the bought it to complete
my 7.1 to 11.2 system (7.2.4 atmos dolby) weighs less than 2 kg per speaker ideal for the ceiling (except speaker center) and a second subwoofer. It's thunder, I'm happy.
