Star Wars Folded Flyers
Make 30 Paper Starfighters
For the first time ever, you can fold Star Wars flyers that fly with the force.
Star Wars Folded Flyers will speed through the living room as well as they do in outer space. That’s because each of the six-starfighter designs has been rigorously tested by the Klutz Aerodynamics Team. And they look as great as they fly, because they’re made from full-color, custom-designed papers – representing galactic vehicle exteriors, authentic to the last bolt.
With five copies of each design, kids can have a fleet of Y-wings and X-wings at their command.
What You Can Make
- 5 Naboo N-1 Starfighters.
- 5 Jedi Starfighters.
- 5 Millennium Falcons.
- 5 BTL-B Y-Wings.
- 5 Tie Advanced X1s.
- 5 T-65 X-Wings.
What You Get
- 60 page book of instructions, fun facts and inspiration.
- 40 sheets of custom-designed paper.
- 6 foldable display stands.

One kid pulls the pages out of the book and slowly reads the directions. The other kid folds and tapes and figures the thing out. Then they switch. There are enough papers in the book to make multiples of each flyer.
And oh, yes. They do fly.
My 6 yr old needs a bit of help with directions, but my 10 yr old nephew is able to do it all on his own.
Star Wars Folded Flyers is not origami, although, as the name indicates, folding is involved, as well as cutting and taping. The instructions and graphics are quite clear, and do require close scrutinization for accuracy, otherwise, the planes won't fly very well. Some of the folding, even with the aid of a recommended ruler, requires some hard pressing when folding multiple layers of paper. Accurate cutting skills is also required. There are pages at the back of the book that tear-out, and are imprinted in such a way that they come to look like the ultimate finished ship, and a bonus is that there are more than one of the flyers to make, so that more can be enjoyed as they get bashed flying around, or in case you mess-up on the construction. The end results are some pretty cool paper airplanes to fly around the house.
