It seems like I had bad luck looking at all the good reviews, I was really looking forward to using this uke, but out of the box the neck was lifting from where it joins to the body (the sturdy connection advertised on the photos).

I'm sad that I had to send it back because it's pretty indeed, the other thing that kind of felt weird is that sliding on the neck is not a really smooth experience, you can feel the frets metal quite a bit just by holding the uke, you can get used to it, it's not the worst but definitely could be better.
