Simple solution to how to hold ice on sore knee.

No leaks for me. Using this on my achy knee was such a relief I can't believe I didn't find it sooner. My mother used ice bags back in the day and I had forgotten about them. I used reused the bags from the emergency rooms or plastic zip bags, but none hold the ice in place as nicely as this strap. The ice bag shapes well. I've used one for a while and then tossed it in the freezer and reused the ice. For some reason it didn't form a solid lump. Maybe I just got lucky. I can do some limited walking around while wearing the knee wrap, but wouldn't want to wear it for extended walking. The wrap has just enough stretch to hold the ice in place but allow some movement.

This has been a lifesaver for my mom who hurt her knee. She was having to mess with ice bags that kept slipping off as she was trying to keep her leg elevated as the Dr. ordered. This stays put so well, is so easily adjustable, and is really well made. And the ice bag does not condense as our other ice solutions had. We had to keep putting towels under her ice bags so they wouldn't soak through which greatly diminished the effectiveness.
The best part is how easy it is to load up the ice straight from your freezer - the opening is just the right size. The lid screws on easily and really tightly so there is no fear of leakage. This is a must have for anyone with a knee injury!

It works well. The ice bag is ok, didn't have any issue with it leaking. My BIG issue is with the size of the wrap. I think it much to small. I'm using it to ice my knee after TKR surgery. With the swelling, two of the longer straps just about makes it around. The shorter third strap is almost always "nope it doesn't work". Now I am a female 5'4.5", 180lbs I have decent muscular development of my legs but not excessive nor what a healthy male would have. I also agree with another reviewer that the strap system is convoluted ... un-necessarily so they tend to end up cutting into the back of my knees.

It needs to sold in sizes. The straps either need to be elasticized somehow or lengthened.

Great wrap with Ice Bag. I would have given 5 stars, but the straps are a little short and barely get around my knee with ice in the bag. My size is typically XL (shorts/shirts), so perhaps that has something to do with it :-). For folks who wear large and below it would be perfect. If you are XL, it may just fit. If you are bigger, I wouldn't try it.

I would be willing to call this a 5 star purchase if the ice bag didn't leak (as other reviewers have stated). Upon the first use, I found the screw cap of the ice bag leaking. That aside, if you decide to purchase other durable ice bags or simply pack ice in a freezer zip lock bag, the wrap holds it very securely in place. In this sense, it still makes icing a lot more convenient. I would give the product 5 stars if they were willing to simply sell the wrap alone for a cheaper price so that we may choose a quality ice bag to go with it.

My left knee swells after a day of basketball and the ice pack I had was not cutting it. I watched some YouTube videos and decided to make my own ice pack out of this product by mixing running alcohol and water inside. This method actually works nice, so all I have to do is keep poppin this bad boyvin and out the freezer and its comes out ice cold. I have not had problems with leaking either. Keep in mind the ice bag is not big but big enough for my knee. Im 6 6 and 230lb.

With two back to back knee surgeries, I needed some way of keeping ice in place on both knees at the same time. Nothing worked until I found the Knee Ice Wrap. It was perfect and I could fasten it in place and not worry about grabbing the icepack every five minutes as it tried to slip away. The icepack also keeps the ice for a surprisingly long time in room temperature. I also found it very handy while traveling. There's just no other way to keep ice on a knee joint while bent in airliners and in autos. Very good product.
