In the late 1990s, we were fortunate to know a great young family who d moved into our neighborhood - Jeff and Tamara Olsen - and their young son, Spencer. Then, in the spring of 1997, we were sad to learn they'd [the Olsen's] had a terrible car accident on the way home from vacation in southern Utah. It was an event that changed their lives forever as well as those of every family member and friend they had. --Michelle King - Mormon Times

Mr. Olsen's road to recovery is also very inspiring and i am happy to see the man happy with his current family, including his surviving son from his first marriage.
Overall, I would recommend this book to those who are interested in personal accounts concerning near death experiences, as well as anyone who wishes to read a tragic, but ultimately uplifting, account of someone who has had to endure some of the harshest realities that this life has to offer, as well as some of its greatest joys, and overcoming life's difficulties while finding enlightenment and true happiness along the way.
Again, I am sorry for the author's loss and the pain he endured but I felt miss led by the title and description. I would not consider this a book on NDE.
Brilliantly written, powerfully expressed, poignantly shared. It didn't seem like a single word was unnecessary, so perfect is the economy of expression, while each page sweeps you on to the next.
It gives the reader do very much to ponder in the Presence of God.
Thank you for sharing your story.
I'm happy that Jeff Olsen shared his amazing story....I really needed it at this time in my life. Please open your doors and your hearts to the Mormon missionaries if you want to know the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the truth about God, and all about where you came from and where you're going. Jesus Christ died for each of us and it's up to us if we will accept His sacrifice and prepare to return to Him. God has a plan for each of us. In these scary times we're living in we need God in our lives more than ever, and having the truth is everything!! We will all die...death is part of life. If any of us died tomorrow would we truly be prepared to meet Heavenly Father or our Savior Jesus Christ?
