Great for cookies & fondant!

I love this needle! It is worth the money & works a lot better than tooth picks on cookies (a lot cheaper than throwing away tooth picks too). I use it only on my cookies to pop air bubbles, smooth out the icing, fill in corners, ect. but you can also use the needle on fondant to help pick up decorations off of your mat/table (like polka dots), help get fondant letters out of cutters/tappits, mark lines on cakes, ect. This is one my most used tools.

I ordered two of these, with two charges of shipping (because of Amazon not the vendor). This vendor had EXCELLENT customer service, very friendly, and very prompt to answer my questions. I asked about discounted shipping, they explained how Amazon worked with that, however, she refunded me the second item's shipping once my tools were delivered. I am happy with that!

Now for the tools themselves... Easy to handle & grip. The needle was long enough for me and skinny enough to use for Royal Icing (on cookies). I'm sure I can find more uses for this tool when it comes to Pastry. Made a lot of iced cookies last night for the first time and this tool was amazing!

Shipping was on time and packaged well with care.

A very important tool to have in your decorating kit

I used to use toothpicks when decorating cookies to swirl colors, but they immediately get gunky and absorb too much food coloring. The scriber needle is the perfect tool to use because it's ultra fine at the tip, and it doesn't absorb colors. Just wipe with a napkin and you're ready to swirl or blend again. It's definitely worth the cost if you enjoy decorating.

I bought this scriber needle as a gift to my mother and she really liked it! It arrived well packaged in bubble wrap and the delivery itself was very fast. My mother said the needle is firm and well attached to the body of the tool (she had similar tools in the past where the needle was very flimsy or even fell off the tool). The needle was long and thin, perfect for what my mother wanted it for (royal icing on cookies). She also said the tool has a good grip with is very important and is a big plus since her artisan hands aren't as firm as they were years ago, unfortunately. It also comes with a protective cap for the needle, for when you are storing it away. All in all, my mother was very happy with this gift and so am I, I would definitely buy from this company again. Great quality product, it deserves 5 stars.

I bought this to use with royal icing. I love not having to use a toothpick to rid air bubbles, it spreads icing into corners easily, and making patterns as shown in online tutorials is incredibly easy! Never thought it would work as easily as it did. I'm not an expert at the perfect icing consistency etc etc....it doesn't have to be perfect for these tools to work

I wasn't sure I really needed to add another tool to my gumpaste tool kit as I have a tendency to over-gadget but now that I have used this on several projects, I don't know what I did without it.
