Why my Jackson why???? This book was so a 5 stars read for me until Jackson did something I just couldn't believe. It was too much and I couldn't come back to my happy place after it. So Serenity our heroine is the daughter of Hogan, Jackson and the club's enemy #1. She was sent by her POS father into the club to spy. Hogan beat her and told her that if she didn't spy he would kill her best friend's little girl, and since Hogan is a huge *%%$#$# that has no problem killing women and children Serenity does what she is told. She shows up at Jackson's club beat up badly and gives them no back story at all, and the club just accepts her no explanations. They don't think it was weird at all that right after they do a hit on Hogan's club, a woman just shows up beat up and can't tell them where she is from. They don't try to figure it out, do a little digging nothing? Whatever! I let that go. Then the book goes on and on about how old Jackson is. "I'm to old for you" "You're just a child" "old man" For frick sake he is 39 not 70, and Serenity was 25 he wasn't that old. Of course those were just little small things that had me rolling my eyes. I could have over looked those things easily. Up til the 70% or so mark I was loving the tar out of this book. Jackson was sexy and sweet. Serenity had my sympathy. I thought they had great chemistry, and I was loving their story. Then it happened.
*********SPOILERS**************** Don't read if you don't want to know!!!!!!!@!!!!!!!!!
Serenity who just found out she was pregnant with Jackson's baby tells Jackson that she really was a spy for her dad and that he is going to try to take out the club when they go into lock down. Now here is where Jackson loses my respect. I totally understand him being ticked. He is a biker and so I can overlook at lot of things, but he treats her like complete crap. Which I could have forgiven if it stopped there but nope. She tells him she is pregnant, that Hogan beat her and was going to kill her bf's little girl and that she lied to her dad the whole time giving him fake info and still he pulls a gun on her, ties her up, lets her puke all over herself, and treats her like dirt. Then he knows she is upset and not eating anything for days because everyone is telling him and he is like Don't give any cares that she is starving herself or my baby. Again I could have forgiven all that but then he sends her back to her father.... WHO BEATS HER EVERY TIME HE IS NEAR HER..... pregnant with his child......knowing there is a really good chance she will be beat, and what do you know.... her dad beats her. Does Jackson flip out? Nope. He just stands there frozen while everyone hears her being beaten. All the other men are yelling for him to pull her out before her father kills her and he just stands there. I couldn't believe it. Then he doesn't beg forgiveness. Doesn't rush her to the hospital to make sure the baby is okay after she was beat. Nope he starts in on how he is too old for her. It's not until she is bleeding that he takes her to the hospital then after seeing the baby on ultrasound he wants to be with her again and he loves her and Serenity is like sure cool everything is back to normal. Nope. Sorry it was too much for me. He sent her in Pregnant with his child and she got beat and I am just not ok with that. After that I just couldn't forgive and forget and move on. I lost my loving feelings. Jackson is sorry???? Yeah well so am I cuzz his stupid actions ruined a five star read for me.
There is a huge age difference (25 & 40) which normally would have bothered me but this time didn't. I guess because of the life she's lived, Serenity didn't feel that much younger to my mind. The book is highly erotic so be prepared for some hot scenes! This one does have a m/f/m menage with Jackson, Serenity and another biker just so you know. Jackson is faithful which I was grateful for but is rarely seen in MC romances, and it just made me love him all the more. I will say he turns into a jerk for a short time when he finds out about Serenity's duplicity, but I could understand his hurt so I didn't hold it against him. It was nice to see all the characters from the first two books, especially Jackson's daughter Addison whom I loved!
Overall I thought this was a good, strong series that I would recommend to any who enjoy motorcycle club romances. The characters are down-to-earth, likable, and made me laugh and smile throughout. There were even a few moments where my eyes teared up for some of the pain Serenity goes through. The story was fast paced and entertaining with nary a dull moment in between. "Knights Sinner' was an enjoyable read by a very promising author that I will definitely be reading more from in the future! FYI, although this is considered the end to the series, Ms. Jewel has released a short Christmas novella about Muff (the third in the menage) so I guess it's not quite the end of the line for these folks yet =)
Getting back to the club and finally seeing Jackson find some one.
That being said..........
Serenity:::::::::::::: What a stupid DUMB a*** heroine. Heroine?? Wrong word. I think I will refer to her as dumb a**. Jackson, Jackson my man, you run a club. Where are your brains? Oh yeah I forgot,,in your pants.
Here is a young girl who's father is "beating the crap out of her" to the point of very serious injury. She is sent into Jackson's MC to get info so her father's MC can destroy it. Under the threat of more beatings. Ok I can see you doing what your told.
Until...........You find out the people are kind and are willing to help you. Maybe not right away but after a little while. You even say it in your head. You see other women being treated well. Being treated with respect. Outrage at the abuse you have received. Jackson yells about your abuse and you tremble. Are you kidding me? Yet they have to find you out before you admit your there to screw them over. Nothing will change my opinion about you being the dumbest heroine in history. I think I will stick by my dad, screw over people that are good to me and spend my life getting beat. Yeah Yeah that sounds like a good idea. I like this series bus Serenity is on my TSTL list. BTW the menage was uncalled for in this story because coming from the" horrible man" and home she came from.....she not only looked dumb but like a dumb club whore" Well if you can tell I didn't like her much. I will accept her for Jackson's sake lol. I also notice in other books the third guy doesn't let her forget that menage either. Live with that Serenity.

I found the whole scene where she confesses then defends herself in front of all of Jackson's crew too weird and immature even. I was just left feeling like really? while I was reading her yelling and cursing at Muff and this annoyance continues while she curses and attacks everyone when the truck stops. I found it really irritating and strange that she goes from so mild mannered to screeching mad woman. From here on there was just way too much over-reacting from all the characters and unrealistic behaviour. The sex scenes were okay, although she cries after every one of them, which gets annoying. So is her reactions at the beginning of the menage, she wants it but whimpers and pulls away etc. So I gave it two stars because overall I wasn't impressed with the story or the writing and the mc men were a bit too mild mannered.
And for me, this was the best book of the series!
Jackson, ah I love Jackson! Poor thing keeps getting caught buck naked though!
And Serenity just broke my heart! Right from the start, her reluctance to betray the people she has only just met, coupled with her disbelief that these men could be so kind as to take her in!
~~Janine looks concerned for me, and I know why, but I can't explain it to her. If hogan finds out I'm lying, she gets hurt. If Jackson finds out what I'm doing, I lose him
I don't know how to escape this one. I feel like I am trapped no matter what I do right now. Someone is going to get hurt. It doesn't matter how I play it out. How do i chose who to hurt.....I could warn Janine away, but if Hogan found out, he'd likely hunt her down and make it worse........Jackson is the only option I have. I have to tell him. I have to crush him and break his heart. I have to betray him and make everything we have shared seem like it was nothing but a big joke.......telling Jackson means I lose him. And if I lose him, I lose part of myself ~~
Whilst I love this book, I almost dreaded turning each page, waiting for the truth to come out and the fallout to happen! it drew me into the story that much!
And when it happens, my heart just broke for both Jackson and Serenity!
It was a brilliant end to the series! An excellent 5 stars!
This book is about is all about Jackson, the knights sinner's president. In the last book a girl named Serenity comes to the compound beaten up and says her dad did it.
This book picks up right from there. Serenity did get beaten by her dad, except her dad is the enemy of the Knight's.
Serenity is not a bad person, there is a reason why she is doing what she is doing, giving her dad secrets about the MC.
Serenity has feelings for Jackson, she can't understand why two MC's look the same, but are so different from each other.
She is having a dilemma because she is not meant to like these people, but she does and she doesn't want to betray them, but has no choice.
Jackson thinks she is young but he can't help but have feelings for her. But then Serenity tells him and things change between them.
This is a great book and things happen that involve a bomb, a birth of a baby and a pregnancy. What more can you want?
This was written well and as much as I loved the other books this one, in my option is the best story of the series.
I don't know if there will be anymore, but I do hope so.
At the end of book 2, Heaven's Sinners, we are introduced to Serenity, who walks into the MC compound all beaten up, and being taken in by the club.
The story continues on in this book, and Serenity ends up moving in with Jackson and Addison until she can get back on her feet. Unknown to the club, she is Hogan's daughter. He's the man who killed Spike's wife and who they thought they killed in book 2, but he's alive, and has sent Serenity in to infiltrate the club and find out information, very much against her will. But the consequences are too grave if she doesn't do as she's told. Serenity doesn't bargain on being attracted to Jackson, and becoming friends with both Addison and Ciara, and this throws a major spanner in the works.
Jackson was sexy as hell in this - all gruff and manly, but with a heart of gold - my favourite kind of alpha male!
Serenity was a very likable character. She was sweet, somewhat innocent, and not afraid to tell Jackson her feelings.
The sex scenes between the two of them were hot, hot, hot, and Jackson definitely disproved the theory that 40 is over the hill!
Why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 was this:
*The threesome storyline was off-putting to me. Not because it was a threesome, but because the author was going to put it in, whether it added to the story or not (which I felt it didn't), and you could see it coming a mile away.
*The discussing of sex around/between Addison and Jackson grossed me out no end. I wouldn't be OK with this in any capacity.
*I also found it odd that Serenity was just able to walk straight in off the street, with little or no questions asked, especially given that the club had just had a major altercation near the end of book 2.
But, all in all, a great effort, I'm sad that it's come to an end :(
Jackson big bad biker only had I eyes for Serenity but unfortunately she is hiding a big secret and scared out of her mind.
Serenity starts to live a normal life falls in love but when Jackson finds out about the lies that's when he loses it. Serenity is scared shaken and just wants to die so she tries to get herself killed.
really enjoyed reading the last instalment of the biker MC cant wait to read more.
I loved hearing about Jackson and your right Bella I could of slapped Serenity too but I also loved her as well and it is always good to hear more about the rest of the hunks Cade and Spike and to hear about Addison and Ciara you said that Jackson was based a bit on your husband will what a lucky lucky woman you are then cause he was my fav to hear about lol !!!!!!!!
Loved the story line and loved the characters. Muff made me laugh as well as some of the girls conversations.
I have really enjoyed the MC Sinners and well be reading these again and again.
The scenes are sexy and you can get lost in the book.
I highly recommend this series and this book and am excited for the next series coming from the author.
