another copy. Well it is like meeting an old friend. The last few years I have relied on the internet to get me out of
trouble. But sometimes it is just nice to have something at your fingertips.
What I do is take a paper clip and attach it to the pages that bails me out. Why do I always forget? The newest
version has illustrations in color. I haven't decided if I like that or not. The old drawings were very straight forward.
There is a lot of information in this book that you don't necessarily need in your knitting bag, and at the same time I couldn't find clarity on other issues. For instance, my pattern called for "P2Tog tbl" and for the life of me I couldn't figure out where to insert my right needle. This stitch was not mentioned. It's attractive, ring-bound, and a decent price, but I'll probably give mine away to a brand-new knitter.
If you are looking for a gift for the knitter in your life, this would be a welcome addition to any knitter's library --- and you might just get a hand knit gift out of it in appreciation!
