Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to re-sharpen.

The blade is 3-5/8" long with a 3-1/4" cutting edge. It's hollow ground, and mine came razor sharp right out of the box. Blade steel is Buck's 420HC, which does a good job at edge holding, rust prevention, and the ability to be resharpened, all without breaking the bank. It's not super tough, but adequate for daily cutting chores. The swedge on the back in't sharpened, not should it be. There's a thumb stud on each side of the blade.
The entire knife is pinned together, so there's no adjusting it. This wasn't a problem with mine. The blade locks open via lockback, which is positioned halfway down the handle. Lock-up is nice and solid, with no wiggle in any direction. A lanyard slot is provided, but I don't see much use in it, being that this knife is made for tip-down carry only. The pocket clip can be removed with a Torx (T-6) driver, and is all black; the three screws are also black. The clip is for right-hand tip-down carry only. Retention in the pocket is good. The camouflage pattern on my knife looks great; I bought this so I could have the benefit of using a larger knife without scaring the people around me. For some reason, pink seems to do the trick for that. The camo pattern will vary slightly from knife to knife, but they'll all have the same general scheme.
For the money, I like this knife. The Byrd Cara Cara 2 in FRN is a better choice for the same amount of money, but is only available with black handles.
The knife arrived quite sharp, holds an edge, and takes an edge easily.
The weight of this knife is unreal for its size. It's a featherweight, but at the same time inspires confidence that it is well-constructed. Except for the pocket clip, which is about the only cheap-feeling part of the knife.
This knife opens quite easily with one hand.
I'd probably make this five stars if the blade were partially serrated.

Just bought yesterday and for the price it's hard to fault. Blade is extremely sharp and reviews have been good on the 420HC steel. Read morePublished 11 days ago by Amazon Customer
This knife is a pretty good value buy. The blade feels really strong and well made but the handle feels relatively cheap especially considering how nice the actual blade is. Read morePublished 18 days ago by Addicted to Amazon
Razor sharp out of the box, ultra lightweight, but can feel flimsy. I wear with my gym shorts because a heaver knife will start to pull shorts off.Published 27 days ago by Billy Bada
