The product was as described. For the cost it works very well - I have purchased this specifically for the use of my parents who are not too computer savvy. My particular request was to be able to do Skype Video Chatting - I was able to log in and do video chatting without issues.

The only little disappointment (not the sellers fault as there is no misrepresentation from their side) was that the camera is not of the quality that one would expect - it is a 0.3 megapixel camera and very small and difficult to focus on a single individual or area. But otherwise it works very well. There are couple of USB ports - I have not tried attaching an external camera, which I want to see if it will work and if does then I guess it does the trick.

Update: 6/22/2012

I have Verizon FIOS at my home and the wireless connection is of a very high quality and I was able to zoom thru all kinds of browser pages and was able to even access my exchange server - because I believe that the Google Chrome browser comes into play.

I played a couple of music videos and the sound quality was very high too.

Update: 7/22/2012

I had set up everything for my parents and they were able to login they live in India, it took me sometime and a help of a friend to reset the secure wifi connection that I have at home in India - they had misplaced the code that I had created - and chatted away happily. They actually conncted the machine to an external speaker and the sound quality improved dramatically for them to be able to hear our voice to the way they were used while using a desktop. The sound from them was crystal clear the micropohone picked up the sound as expected.

I do Android development so I purchased a few different types of the cheaper Chinese made tablets to test software. This one had a great price, but didn't last in the long run. As a developer I can tell you that Android is hardware independent running on a Linux kernel. And there in lies the difference between a lot of these tablets. It is how well that kernel has been tuned or the device drivers (code that handles accessing the hardware) written to match the hardware. Sometimes you get good hardware with bad drivers other times it might be bad hardware with drivers that do great work-arounds, but in this case it's both bad hardware and bad drivers. I waited six months to do this review so I would be fully familiar with the product. This is not an out-of-the-box look, it's long term.

First, as with all Android devices I recommend you install Dolphin browser as it handles streaming video, audio etc. much better than most (no I don't write Dolphin and am in no way associated with Mobo Tap -- it's just a great product). Keep that in mind with this review as I always mean Dolphin with I say "browser". With this browser it does streaming video well and acts great as a simple device to browse online.

First the good, the screen looks great. It is clear and bright and had a great feel. Second you get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhich. It is physically well constructed with nice seams in the case and good solid, durable buttons. It has a volume switch, a power on/wake up button, and "back" button on the front, a forward facing very low-resolution camera, a "host" USB port for an external Ethernet connection, a SD card slot for external memory, another USB (mini, not micro), the charger connection, an HDMI port for your TV, and a headphone port.

Wanted a decent tablet for under $200 and found the MID M1060. It is perfect for checking email, facebook and surfing the net. Display isn't bad and touchscreen is good although scrolling can be slow. Movies play well from a mini sd card but haven't tried to stream yet. If you don't need to impress your friends and just want something simple then this tablet does the job.

I'm not sure why so much frustration from one of the reviews, but personally, I LOVE it!!! I got this tablet because they could no longer carry the Zennithink C9 tablet, so I was a little disappointed when I saw that they had sent me the wrong tablet and I would have to return it, etc. Well, that was until I turned it on and gave it one hell of a test drive. I checked everything out and let me tell you that this is a well-put-together tablet. It feels sturdy and looks great. It is fast! Streams Netflix nicely, good sound and the picture is very high quality. And yes, it is absolutely Google-ready with the Google Play app ready to go, plus they included tons of apps with it. I know people who have an iPad that cost 5X's more than what I paid and I can do more with this inexpensive tablet than they can, because I am not limited to running only apps that run on the Mac System. Besides the fact that it is not American-made, I am happy with it.

Bought this to see if I would use a tablet, I have a kindle fire for reading and thought an additional tablet would just be another device that I would not carry. But as a test I bought this because it was cheap to see if I could find a use for a 10 inch tablet and I did. Turns out I love reading magazines on the tablet and also can sit in my chair and surf the web, etc far easier than having the laptop siting on my lap. So how about this tablet, the Kocaso MID M1060. Well first off, it works, I have a kindle reading app on mine and read magazines and news papers. It is convent to hold. But the battery seems to be small as I can't get but an hour of two before I have to find a charger, I have overcome that by having a charger near where I usually sit but it is still a pain. It us a bit under powered, by that I mean a slow processor or whatever but the pages load slower than I have seen on friends tablets and the WiFi seems to be a cheap model. It just does not load data nearly as fast as the laptop sitting in the same chair. In short, it is a cheap model that will work given the limitations, now that I see I will use one, I am in the market for a much better tablet, for which I will pay 3 times more than I paid for this one.
