Keep your head in the game and your hands at the controls with the Komodo Bluetooth Wireless Headset for Playstation 3. Its lightweight design fits securely over your ears, so you never again have to worry about the tell-tale feel of a headset slipping off the crown of your head. the ear-clip is designed so it can be sifted from right sided to left sided. good idea...but the snap-hinge is weak. it pops back together easily but, i still need to spend a extra minute or five getting it into place.
mic is strong , once in place i forget is there.
you decide , i went cheap, it works, and i get to complain
The only thing I am grateful for is the extra usb charger that came with it. Now, if for some reason 2 of my dualshock 3 controllers die at the same time, I'll be able to plug them both into my ps3, although this seems unlikely since those controllers don't seem to die until almost an entire day of gameplay. The cord is even 3 feet long, perfect when sitting on my couch, 6 feet away from my ps3.
The product itself is very cheap plastic feeling. There is no ear plug its just a speaker that your ear goes up against, and the sound from the speaker is very low, even after turning it up all the way.
The product originally worked fine, it was able to be found quickly and easily on the PlayStation and I was paired up and working OK. After about a week what happened is the device would just start randomly dropping, and the only way I could get it to work so that it wouldn't drop the device was I had to re-sync the headphones all over again every time I would reconnect the headset. This is pretty annoying, also there seems to be no indicator light that shows the headset is on or my indicator light has burned out. When I first paired my device I saw a blue light and everything looked good, now I never see a blue light and the only light I see is a red light when I either turn the device off or have to re-sync it. Again I have had this product now for a week, 10 days at the absolute maximum.
I highly recommend you stay away and look at other Bluetooth devices, there is a list on Wikipedia of Bluetooth compatible headsets that can also be used on the PlayStation, don't waste money getting one specific for the PlayStation when the majority of other Bluetooth devices will work fine on it, be more reliable, and will be cheaper.
