Had to buy a new grill brush as my old ones were very worn out. Decided to try the Kona style with the coiled bristles. Seemed to make sense. Bought two as I normally wear one out every summer. These are nice brushes. Very sturdy, well constructed. Long handle so you don’t have your hand over the hot grill. Clean very well. My old brush was a normal bristle brush and it was worn out. But, I was still surprised how well this brush cleaned the grill. It seems to get cleaner each time I use this brush. I do dip it in water as recommended. And always with the grill hot. It does take a bit of “elbow grease”, but I think that is normal when cleaning a grill. Works well. I think one brush may last beyond the summer, but nice to have a spare. Would recommend and will buy again.

I have a Weber Genesis gas grill. The racks are the round type, although heavy gauge. This seems to clean better than most. My main gripe with everything I have bought in the past is that they wear out so fast. This looks like it will last much longer and provide good value for the money. You don't know if you don't try. I can see how it might not work as well on cast iron grates; especially the undersides. I am specifically thinking of my old Hibachi type grill.

This brush works well when used properly (should be dipped in water repeatedly to create steam while scrubbing the grill grates). It cleans the surface very well and doesn’t present the concerns of leaving any steel bristles on the grill surface. It stays pretty clean on its own due to the constant dipping in water, but I did run it through the dishwasher once to see how it handled it (very well). The one trade off is that you can not get down deep between the grates due to the design/shape of the coils on the head of this brush. This can be overcome by flipping the grates over periodically and cleaning the other side. Overall, I am very satisfied with this grill brush and would recommend it.

I purchased this product because I was looking for a bristle-free way to clean my grill grates. I love the fact that this is bristle free, but it just doesn't clean the grates as well as I expected based on the multiple videos I've seen for this product. I am using water to soak the tool and applying it to a hot grill, but the brush heads don't get in between the grill grates and well as I would like. I'm going to continue using the product, but in my opinion, it doesn't live up to the hype that is conveyed in the videos.
